Over decades, we've invested in scores of companies offering new technologies, robust business models, and new products and services, all with the hallmark of significant revenue growth. Experience has taught us that when a founder is still involved, companies are more innovative, willing to make bolder investments.
A moderately diversified portfolio of high-growth companies from varied industries as well as capitalization ranges. This strategy is sector agnostic, where only high growth companies from rapidly expanding industries are selected. This strategy culminates in a concentrated portfolio (investment weights reflect conviction in each business' strength) and high active share.
The Zevenbergen Growth Fund traces its history to the firms' flagship investment strategy. The investment DNA focuses on identifying wealth-creating companies and weighting those positions based on our conviction in the business model and underlying progress of the company. This is not the common wide-angle approach to investing (diluting potential winners by owning a large number of holdings).
The Zevenbergen Genea Fund targets bold positions in ground-breaking businesses. These are companies we believe can disrupt, grow and evolve for many years. Investment at this emerging stage (oftentimes at, or near a company's initial public offering) requires vision and perspective.
