They said they'd remove 3 pines on our property. Communication has been poor. Suddenly showed up few days later with no notice. Took out 2 of the 3, and did a great job. Said 3rd required use of a crane, so couldn't do same day. That was a month ago and haven't heard from them. I call and leave messages, but no response. Poor customer relations under the PG&E program.

Nates holds the contract to clear lines for PG&E. They came on our property against our express wishes, cut only the most valuable trees and removed them even though PG&E says that they will not take trees. They left a mess. When contacted about what they had done, they lied to us. We are currently pursuing legal/regulatory remedies against Nates. Do not use this DISHONEST company!

The crew did a great job and left my yard which had 2 big oaks down in it line nothing had happened. The crew works like a well oiled machine. Jacob, the foreman and climber was especially professional and took every precaution to be safe and expedient to make sure the job was done just as Troy had promised in his bid. You could not ask for a better guy to work with than Troy.

I would not recommend Nate's Tree service. They were hired by PG&E to cut down and trim some trees in our yard.
We were aware that the work was being done, but were surprised by the methods they used to cut the trees down and the mess they left in our yard and neighborhood street for several weeks after the job. Instead of cutting down our large pine trees in sections, they dropped 50' lengths, using two healthy trees to guide them down (which damaged the healthy trees).
I called Nate's customer service and they mentioned that they were super busy and had been sub-contacting

These guys were great! I called right at 7am when a tree was discovered blocking my drive. Nate Jr. was at my house with an estimate and helping hand less than 20 minutes later. When root rot was discovered in 3 of my trees, the crew took them down that day at a very reasonable price. To recap: great service, reasonable prices, and knowledgeable and efficient team.

After going back and forth for weeks trying to get another provider out to my cabin in Arnold to remove a tree that had died, I finally found Nate's Tree Service. Nate quickly returned my call and scheduled the tree removal. The team did a great job taking the tree down and cutting it into rounds that I can later chop. The price was also a fair deal less than the other provider too! I'll definitely be using Nate's Tree Service in the future whenever I need to have tree work completed.

Some time ago, I recommended Nates to an older friend of mine. While they were doing the tree work, my friends shed was damaged. While Nate accepted responsibility for the damages, three months later the repairs had not even begun. Out of my guilt for recommending Nates for the job, I fixed the shed myself and presented a bill (less than $100) to Nates. Much time has gone by and I still have yet to be repaid for a mistake that he admitted was their fault. When I called the office for reimbursement, I was treated like I was the one who had done something wrong. I have not recommended Nates since
