So glad they are back after the tornado ripped through their restaurant. Food is as great as ever. A really nice family owned restaurant. Our favorite place to enjoy good food and conversation with Giuseppe, Giovanna and their staff.

We recently moved to the area but have lived in Brooklyn and New Haven, both known for high quality pizza. We had a pizza with sausage and red pepper and it was off the charts. High quality ingredients including the cheese and not drowning in sauce. And such kind and wonderful people. One note, if you are loading up on these ingredients the bottom of the dough can't possibly have the same as pizza margarita so make or choice or better still order both. Can't wait to try all the other dishes . Highly recommended

We have ordered from this restaurant several times and each time the food has been AMAZING. Loved the calamari, tasted great and wasn't like other places where you can tell it's older or been frozen for too long. The margherita specialty pizza seriously blew us away!

Friendly staff. Our cheesesteak tasted good. The pizza tasted fine but the bottom of the crust was kinda tough. Nothing special. We're hoping that the entrees are better than the pizza. The prices are fair and we like that they are BYOB.
Question for the owners - Have you tasted your pizza? Your recipe needs work. Especially the dough.

Amazing food! My all time favorite eggplant Parm dinner. It comes with bread and a salad and your choice of pasta. the sauce is amazing! I love how they layered the eggplant and cheese like a lasagna so delicious and filling and the price is very affordable! I loved learning the story about the family and got to meet the son who is in charge. such a lovely space very family friendly and able to socially distancing. they have a great take-out service also. the pizza looked amazing! Our experience at Nonna Giovann's Pizzeria started off slow due to it being busy but after some prefectly fresh hot rolls, nice fresh salad and a sip of good chianti, we enjoyed one of the best Italian meals with fresh, rich and balanced flavors.
Definitely call ahead for reservations at peak times when planning to dine there. Either way, its well worth the wait and the trip.

For a local spot, this place is really really good. Many in the house thought it was one of the best pepperoni pizzas they have had around town in a while. If I order from here again I would likely ask for the pie to be kept in the oven an extra minute for a little bit more of a crispy crust.

Picked up an order from this restaurant for the first time. The food was delicious. Nice sized portions. Courteous staff. We have been looking for good italian and now we have found it!

We love Nonna’s! Never had anything but great food here, but some of our favorites are the panzerotti’s and the rigatoni salsa Rosa...authentic Italian comfort foods! Great people too, always friendly and great service :-)

Nonna's is our favorite pizza in the area. Entrees, salads and desserts are even better. Run by a very sweet family - we hope Nonna's stays in this area for a long time!

Ordered a Hawaiian pizza and a Sicilian pizza for takeout. They were both great, especially the amazing crust on the Sicilian with its perfectly crisp bottom. The pizzas were ready for pickup on time. The older gentleman who put the pizzas in my trunk was friendly and wearing a mask. Will definitely be ordering again!

My husband and I stumbled across Nonna Giovanna's. We walked in and we're immediately greeted with smiles by a very friendly woman who seated us right away. Our server was great and told is about all the specials they had that evening, and brought bruschetta to the table which I thought was a great way to start the meal. Our food was delicious and the service was great. We will definitely be back.

3 3/4 stars...Neighborhood Italian food. Good size menu. We had quick and pleasant service. Complimentary piece of bruschetta for each diner. Meals come with salad and warm bread. BYOB. We had a penne arriabiata with broccoli rabe and chicken, and chicken scallopini. Both entrees were tasty and flavorful. The only negative is if you make a substitution they add extra charges which should be disclosed when you order. We exchanged chicken for sausage and the dish went from $18 to $24 which wasn't expected because chicken and sausage are the same price on the menu to add to pastas.

My husband and I went there for dinner yesterday about 5:45. We were quickly greeted seated given water ordered dinner. We were given salad with our meals (just greens) and rolls. That was all we ever got. We were told many times the food will be right out. 2 more minutes. Then our server told us that they hAd many to go orders that's why we weren't being fed. We lEft hungry and disappointed at 7:00. I suggest that people go to any other Italian restaurant to eat there are many to chose from. If I could give them zero stars I would. Horrible management.

I ordered take out from here and the food was absolutely delicious!! When I called I explained to them that I had celiac disease. They assured me that all dishes are made fresh to order and that they knew of the precautions that need to be taken with regard to celiac. I had the chicken cacciatore over gluten free penne and it did not disappoint!! I will definitely be ordering from here again.

My husband and I found this restaurant and the food is great! The service is wonderful. We went for lunch since we work nearby and the waiter brought us bruschetta and bottled water with lemon. He also brought us samples of their pizza which was so good, while we were waiting for our order. We both ordered the panini with fries and the sandwich was delicious.

We can't wait to go there for dinner and bring a bottle of wine. So happy we found this wonderful place.

This place has a really great menu. The interior is well designed. Food comes out quick and fresh. They are very kind from what I have seen and experienced. The location is kind of hidden, which is unfortunate, but the place has a lot of potential. I would strongly recommend.

My wife loves the alfredo here. I've enjoyed the pizza , the cheesesteaks and the baked ravioli in vodka sauce. Trying the panzerroti tonight. The place is nice inside maybe a little too nice when you just want pizza or sandwiches but it's all been very good. They are very friendly and bring a small plate of bruschetta to you with a bottle of water. Great little family business that welcomes you and seems to genuinely appreciate your business.

We had a great time at this new restaurant! The atmosphere was very nice - Italian music playing softly in the background and a fireplace on the wall. The waitress was friendly and quick. I ordered the calamari and a pasta dish, and the kids ordered pizza. We loved the food, it was amazing! The calamari was some of the best I'd ever had and the pasta sauce was delicious. The food was definitely authentic Italian, and a great deal for the price. I highly recommend this place and it is a great addition to the neighborhood.
