Some Crust is amazing IYKYK. The Bear Claw is a classic and the Gingersnap cookies is delicious as well.

I've been coming to this bakery for years. Started as a spot to grab a coffee and bite when I would cycle. Now it's turned into a nice spot to bring my wife and kids to grab a bear claw and coffee to start the day. I love the season baked goods as well for Thanksgiving and Christmas. I love pan dulce from a good panadería but this place always hits the spot.

I had a magical orange scone today and it was a gluten free!what a treat! so soft so good i cant explain a more perfect scone! Thank you!

Was first introduced to this delicious bakery by my classmate after a long week of classes. When I went, there was a long line because of the surge in omicron at 9am. I waited 10 minutes before being able to get inside.

The workers were busy making sure to keep their distance while taking orders and making coffee. I quite like the deep flavor of the mocha cookie. I will always purchase one when I stop by. The hazelnut cupcake wasn't as memorable, but it was decent. The coffee was smooth as well.

My husband (!) and I love cake. Like really really love cake. Like going cake tasting was one of our favorite parts of wedding planning. So working with Some Crust was so easy. The cake tasting was easy, the cake was great and the extra desserts we added were also delicious. By the time the wedding was over we went to grab the extra cake and there wasn’t any left! Highly recommend if you want an easy choice for wedding cake! Thanks Some Crust!

This review is LONG overdue! I've lived in SoCal my whole life and never been here! Hidden gem in Claremont! LOVE their cakes!! Came here for a wedding cake tasting & WOOOO!
I know I'm biased, but I've tried plenty of cakes in my lifetime, thus far -- NEVER had one like this one (WAY better than Portos!!!!).
Awesome service, I showed them a photo from IG of what I wanted & they delivered 100%! Will definitely come here for my cakes!

Really, I'm a regular here, Pretty much all the OG Employees remember my name - that's how you know you come way to often. no joke, I come here at least 2 times a week for custom egg sliders and cookies!

Nothing says success than a 100+ years in business and You can see why. The go to place for custom cakes, huge Cinnabon rolls, sandwiches and cookies. But make sure to come early or order ahead because they run out real quick.

When in Claremont...go! I drove 25 miles to pick up a box of delicious Blueberry Vegan Muffins and Vegan Oatmeal Peanut Butter cookies. Shared with my coworkers and friends. Yumminess can be found at Some Crust Bakery. Trust me.❤

We stopped here while shopping in the village to get our kids a snack. Two lemon poppyseed muffins and one blueberry cream cheese Danish. The Danish was excellent, the muffins not so much. Well likely try this place again.

Very good desserts. We bought a few diff ones to try! All of them tasted great!

I travel 31 miles for this muffin. Totally worth the drive. I always pick up some for my coworkers. They love me. (The oatmeal peanut butter cookie is mouth watering too!)

Delicious bakery! The butter ball cookies are a family favorite. The service here is usually pretty quick. They have a good assortment of items and a cafe attached for coffee and additional items. Would highly recommend popping in!

MEAN PEOPLE AND BAD CAKE!!!

My bf went to put in an order for a cake and the employees were so rude and snotty. They kept snapping at him.
He was about to go and order somewhere else but the tried their cupcakes and they were really good. So he decided the cake was worth it. It looked well done when we received it however when it came down to cutting it, it was the most driest cake ever. It kept falling apart i couldn't even pass it on to my guests without it looking gross. No one ate it. I threw the whole thing away it had no flavor what so ever.

One of my favorite bakeries. They have been consistently good for the past 33 years that I've walked through their door. They have dynamite cakes. In fact, my wedding cake was from this place. We love the cupcakes and cookies. They make super good sandwiches also.

I like my pastries freshly baked and local. I have never been to a bakery where there was nothing that I didn't like. This is that place. This is heaven, nothing less than a utopia of freshly baked things. Cookies. Danishes. Cakes. Cupcakes. Croissants,..I can go on but, you get my drift. Don't sleep on this Claremont favorite. This is a quaint, little bakery in Claremont. There usually is a line out the door, so I got lucky today with no line out the door! There was a short line inside but it went quickly. Most people inside were picking up phone orders. On to the good stuff!

The first thing I've ever tried from this bakery was the almond shortbread cookie and it honestly is one of the best cookies I've ever had in my life. I went today and they sadly didn't have any, which is bittersweet. I honestly might have bought the batch if it were in stock! A little dramatic, but that's how much I swear

I used to visit Claremont once a year for the past 13 years. COVID-19 changed many people's life, I haven't go to USA for 3 years. I miss this coffee shop a lot.
My boss who lives in Claremont took us to this small coffee shop 13 years ago, we love it!
If we stayed in Claremont for a week, we have to visit this coffee shop 5-6 days.
Soy latte is my favourite drink. Bread and cake are delicious. Little burgers are tasty, you can choose ingredients to make your own little burgers. Staffs are friendly.

I hate to give this rating because I love love love their pastries. My husband and I visit often on the weekends. Although the line starts outside they move quickly and efficiently. The reason for the low rating is because I visited last weekend for some pastries and cupcakes. I got a Pumpkin muffin and after my husband took a bite he realized there were nuts in it which he is very allergic to. There was no note that there were nuts and it ended up in a severe allergic reaction. Now I take responsibility for not asking but at the same time definitely something that should be noted. We lived in Claremont 20 years ago and always loved the baked goods from Some Crust. We still do! We got treats and coffees to go and enjoyed them and n a stroll through the village. Now we are going back to pick up more for later.

We were FINALLY able to have our dream wedding/reception with family and friends (following a 1/1/21 elopement) after COVID caused our venue to cancel on us twice in the past 12 months. Date #3 was 7/18/21 at Vellano Estate in Chino Hills and it was perfect!

The bakery called a few days before and confirmed all the details again of our cake. We had around 80 guests so we had a 3-tier cake.
