Cabbage Patch Kids originate in 1983, which was years after the first Cabbage Patch Greenhouse. Plants are grown by wholesalers in southwest Missouri and the surrounding area. From the very beginning, our priority has been to use local growers. Because of this, our growers are familiar with the climate and produce consistent, exceptional quality year after year.
Cabbage Patch Greenhouses came to fruition because of a friend and, therefore, we aim to personally know all of our growers. In late 2018, Thresa Hansen became the new owner of Cabbage Patch Greenhouses. For the past five years, Thresa has worked for John here at Cabbage Patch, but has known him most of her life.

Got these glorious plants at this wonderful nursery! The staff here is amazing and so polite. They really do care about thier customers and meeting all thier planty needs. I have found some incredible indoor plants here along with seedlings for vegetable gardens and every pretty annual flower you could think of!!!

So many plants. I love to buy local and i am so happy i found this place. There are a semi pop up store as they are only open until July, but i believe they have been operating in this location for 40 years. The succulent selection was overwhelming. I bought mosy herbs and vegetable plants this trip and will be back for more soon.
