Chittenden County is home, not only to Champ Car Wash, but also to our friends and families. We like to take care of our own and have actively been involved in local fundraising and charity work for 30 years. He grew up in Hyde park, Vermont and graduated from Lamoille Union High School in 2006. He enlisted in the Army a year later to serve his country and earn money for college. he set his sights on becoming a history teacher.

I'm a southern native so I had to call and ask about brushing snow off before coming in and they were quick to answer the phone. After arriving the cashier was helpful in explaining the different washes and monthly membership. I wasn't expecting a perfect wash, an automatic wash will never achieve that. However for the money I'm very satisfied with the results, the standard wash left the vehicle what I rate an 8/10 in regards to being 100% clean.

After difficulty with debit card transaction - double charged - I was promised a coupon by mail for free wash. It never arrived.
Lower side panels not cleaned at all. Two workers brush the rear and front glass - which I do at each gas fill up - but don't even address the side panels.
Too bad, good location too.

I belong to their VIP club. They never send out the discount coupon by email early in the month. So today, the 2nd of the month, I went to the carwash and asked if they would honor last month's discount seeing this month's had not yet been issued. I was told "No" and when I complained the attendant said she would call the boss. As this is not the first time this has happened, I just left and went to another carwash and was greeted with a smile. It was a little more expensive but I didn't mind because I got excellent service at Checkaberry Car Wash in Winooski.

Excellent car wash with great service attendees! I have a magnet on the back of my car and not only did they wipe it down for me, they brought it to my window as I had forgotten it was there so it wouldn't get lost. I've been through plenty of car washes with that thing on there and forgotten all the time and no one has ever pulled it for me. Will definitely be back!

Good honest car wash. hot wax is great! It is worth the extra money, and really makes your paint smooth and beads water for weeks. The service here is good and you can be sure your car is fully clean when done. Every 10th wash is free if you use a vip card. This is my go to car wash for when the truck needs it...

I notice this car wash has 3 great reviews from a couple of years ago and after using their services today, I think I understand why there are no current ones. I am a loyal customer at their Shelburne Road location, so being in the Essex area I thought I would get the same service. I went to the car was with a car that only gets driven a few times a year and never once salt is on the road. It is not a "mudding" car and rarely, if ever, sees a dirt road. It is kept in a garage when not driven. It was dusty and needed a wash. The car was just as dirty once I left the car wash as when

Always a dependable good wash out of this establishment. Also has a self serve wash garage. Last wash here the two guys who ran it did a bang up great job getting nasty stains on my hood and was sure to let me know they got it out in good shape. Never EVER had a problem with washes here. Service moves quickly too even if there is a line for the autowash.

Champs does a great job clean up my car it takes off all the dirt and grime even the salt in the winter. The people are nice too, they do not try to talk me into doing more than what I ask for, they wash down the Windows before sending you off into the car wash. And best of all the price is right. I take care of my car and Champ helps me do that by keeping it nice and clean. Thanks Champ. ;) Gypsy in Hinesburg.

I was at the Champ Car Wash right across from the Essex Fairgrounds. Every single time I drive by that car wash I say to myself that it is probably a pretty bad one because it does not look nice from the road. Well, I was so wrong. The two representatives working there, Katelin and Amanda, were absolutely amazing. I vacuumed my car and I wanted to wash my rubber car mats but I did not want to pay $2.00 for the gun to spray 2 car mats so they offered to wash them out for me. Such a great customer service. Guess where I am going to wash my car from now on - at the Champ Car wash in Essex Junction

For a whole $2.00 you can do one manual wash on your car. Then follow that up with a $2.00 rinse your all set and ready to go! Your other option is to spend $7.50+ to use the automatic car wash. Its still pretty quick there just may be a line after noon on nice days.
The staff with the auto car wash a really efficient and quick all at the same time! They take your money after asking what wash you want. They then go and grab you change as the line moves forward. Its a pretty easy process to be honest.
