Glen Lake Camp and Retreat Center is located in Glen Rose, Texas and is an extension ministry of the Central Texas United Methodist Conference.

Services
We welcome every camper with adventure, community, and life in Christ. The very nature of Camp, brings us out of our comfort zones and into a life cut off from distraction, so we can experience and explore God's beautiful creation. Summer Camp brings us together with lasting friendships, strengthened through intentional life together.
Volunteers are a vital part of our summer camp ministry, we welcome children's and youth directors as well as parents and other pastoral staff to come, spend a week and have a life changing experience alongside your campers. We have a variety of non-summer camp volunteer options available for church groups or individuals wanting to support the ministry here at Glen Lake Camp.
We want to see high school students grow in their faith, make an impact, and develop as the leaders the world needs. Glen Lake Emerging Leaders Institute is specifically designed to be the catalyst encouraging campers in their relationship with Christ, the church, and all people. It IS NOT a Bible study, or a Sunday school class, or a passion-packed worship event.

Glen Lake Camp is a premiere Christian retreat center in Glen Rose, Texas that allows groups of all ages to get away from daily distractions, to rest, build friendships, and ultimately focus on their relationship with Christ. Glen Lake Camp is packed with activities and amenities for your whole group, and has plenty of accommodations for indoor worship, classrooms, and comfortable cabins. The spacious facility also boasts walking trails to the nearby Big Rock Park, and our students' favorite, the walk to the cross. The staff here is incredibly helpful, cheery, anf accommodating. They always are easy to work with and always at the top of their game.

Went for several Summers in a row during my childhood and preteen years during the 90s to maybe 2001 or 2002. I feel it made the life long impression on me of the values a parent hopes to encourage in a kid. The best memories, the friends ( too bad we didn't have the varieties of connection there are nowadays) I will never forget! My mother attended when she was kid too. I only dream of sending my daughter there before she will not have the desire to attend ! I know it's not the same staff and LOTS of things apparently have been added but I could probably bet everything it's ran with the same compassion
