I visited Miriam for threading however she recommended sugaring (I think that's the process). I've never done it before and I wish I had been doing this before.

I have been coming to Short Pump Threading for about about 8 years. I was referred by a friend. I never thought about threading before coming Short Pump Threading. I love it!! Mariam has gotten my brows straight. They were a mess but now they are really thick and full. Mariam is really sweet and very professional. Miriam is amazing. Very detailed and pain free. Miriam has my brows looking fabulous- people are always asking me and my daughter who does our brows now that we started getting our services from Miriam. She is also very flexible and will set an appointment with us when it works for us. She is super fast and that doesn’t take away from my gorgeous brows! We love it here! So much so we just received our first underarm waxing- again this is flawless and fast. She is VERY clean and hygienic!

I think it begins right from booking an appointment. Mariam is the most cheerful and accomodating person ever. Have never waited for a minute for my appointment. I would recommend this place if you have a sensitive skin like me. Her technique and hands are just too good and practically you never feel the pain. Will comeback for wax from now on

I think their Brazilian wax is among the best in Richmond. I am a wax person for over a decade and I feel, Mariam uses the top quality wax ( Imported I believe). You don't need to worry about double dipping or hygiene bit, as she takes good care of it. She also makes sure she answers to all our queries, quite patiently too. Go for her sugaring if you are around richmond and you can thank me later

My eyebrows look nice, however I made an appointment for 2:45 and was not seen until after 3. Then I offered to pay via Venmo and she automatically included a tip in the price she requested from me on Venmo for herself. I think this is misleading for people who intend to tip and may lead people inadvertently tipping extra on top of the tip she gives herself within the price requested. I assumed that the price she requested was the cost of the service, but it did seem high so when I left I had a friend call to ask the price and it was in fact lower than what she charged me.

I have been researching threading studios for a while and decided to go to ShortPump Threading. My husband and I initially could not find where the studio was located so I called and a very pleasant woman answered. Told us where to find her and as promised she met us at the front and walked us back. I have been growing out my eyebrows since February 2021 and I wanted to see if I needed more time or if something could be done now. Mariam is as described by other reviewers...very nice. She tries to pressure you to leave her a Google review right there after you've gotten your eyebrows done. You feel like you need to give her a good rating since she's standing over you. I told her at least 4 times that I'd maybe write one later and she kept pressuring me to do it at that moment. Makes me feel like ppl won't leave honest reviews because it's an awkward situation. Also, her price for eyebrows is high. $15? Seriously? Much cheaper places around Richmond.

Mariam is amazing! I am so glad I found her. She does and amazing job threading eyebrows. My brows were cleaned up nicely, the shape was not too thin and they were evenly done! I recommend making an appointment and booking ahead as she is very busy. I have tried numerous places in Richmond and no one compares!

I'm so glad I did because after a terrible body waxing experience at Miracle Browz, Mariam was knowledgeable, professional, very quick, and sanitary.
