Star Cabs

I have used Star Cab over the years and they have been nothing, but understanding when it comes to picking me up from point A to point B. They can reserve your spot allowing the driver to get to the location when it is needed. I have nothing, but good things to say about the dispatchers, drivers, and the boss that assist with communications when it comes to the drivers and customers.

A cab driver sped down a neighborhood street backwards for two blocks. This is incredibly dangerous. I called Star Cabs, and they hung up on me without letting me tell them what happened … twice. FYI, this was at approx 7:25am on Monday, Jan 3, 2021. Cab number S-8. This company cares nothing about safety, and their druvers think they’re auditioning for Fast and Furious.

They on time with me whenever I call and schedule an appointment to be picked up they are always on time and the price is better than Lyft or Uber any day

Don't waste your time. I scheduled a ride to the airport a day ahead of time. Called to confirm the following morning and didn't have a ride scheduled. The dispatcher told me "whoever took your information ain't save it cause I dont see it. I would have missed flight had I not called to check. Tha k uber for saving my trip.

Great reliable company. Drivers are nice helpful and the cars are clean. Rarely have I ever waited more than 10 min. You can even schedule your pick up time ahead of time.

Every once in awhile they can make it to you and bring you close to your destination if you're super early. Then you check your spending if you're frugal.
Ya get out and walk the rest of the way.

I have used star cab for many years and have had very friendly and professional .I hope they will always be around to count on cause star cab is one of the most dependable services around and when you do have to wait they are honest..I know with the disaster it hurts their business praying y’all will at full force soon. My crew down Illinois fixing damaged power lines. has been calling all week hasn't disappointed once. Great service one of the driver stop and gave us all cold water. These guys are wonderful. We don't get treated this good anywhere else.

Called the cab company a day prior to departure from MSY for 4 people in a van, since a cab only fits 3. Scheduled a pickup at 10am for a flight....confirmed details.
At 10 am the next day, no cab/van showed up. Did not get any call. Called the company, and the operator said the van will be 20 minutes late.....the van is in Kenner.....so 20-30 minutes late for a prescheduled/confirmed airport ride? Instead of apologizing, she has the audacity to say "do you want me send it, or cancel?" Given that I had a flight to catch, I cancelled and called an Uber...NEVER AGAIN...UNRELIABLE

I used this service based on the reviews here but I didn't get anything close to what others are saying. I tried them out 4 times while in town with work and I got the following, dirty ragged car, smelly driver, not clean both car and driver, late, never showed up once and a driver who drove like a maniac! Im not sure what others are requesting to get the service that matches there reviews but I didn't get nothing close. Unless the reviews are fake reviews by employees or friend then i just don't understand. Good luck
