Over 10 years ago this business started as a hobby! It was a way to relieve stress and make a little extra money. I had no idea I would fall in love with cake decorating. I worked over 10 years with the State of Georgia in the Telecommunication Division my co-workers helped me find the right cake recipes and encouraged me to continue to take classes and grow.
Lameeka is Amazing! We had a tight budget but she worked with us to give us two beautiful (and delicious) cakes for our wedding. We had a gorgeous navy blue 4 tiered cake with silver decorations to match our wedding colors and a poker table groom\'s cake that my new hubby and his boys are still. La\'Meeka has a God gifted talent.
Although we live in a technology age we will NOT return phone messages left without a name and phone number. We will be happy to provide a general cake quote via email, however we will only give you a quote two photos and answer 2 emails; to keep production going we can not continue back and forth, a cake consultation is encouraged.

Let me say this...2 years ago when we got married I was planning a destination wedding in Atlanta from New Jersey. When I tell you I hunted La'Meeka down to do our cake, I hunted her DOWN LOL! I just had to have her as our cake baker. I had heard about La'Meeka all the way in New Jersey. Long story short, she agreed to do our wedding at the location we were having it and I was beyond thrilled. She did not disappoint! OMG. Our cake is still the talk of the town. Early December 2021 I told La'Meeka we would be in town and asked if we could have our top tier baked for our Christmas visit to Atlanta

Where do I begin? From the beginning I had a great experience with Cakes by La’Meeka. Her assistant Debbie was great at responding and setting up a cake tasting for my wedding in 2019. When we came to her studio I was amazed by all her cakes around the wall. Her work is beautiful! To make it even better, the cakes taste even better than its looks. My mother, grandmother, husband and myself ate every bit of the cake at the tasting. It was hard to even pick our favorite flavors. Awesome!!! I'm so happy and excited to be going back to Lameeka. I designed a cake for my son's 2020 graduation. With COVID and all going on, she helped make that day very special. Of course we did a drive by graduation, but the cake was so awesome!! It was moist, the fondant was great, and the rice crispy tires were very good. Thank you and I'm looking forward to going back this time for an anniversary cake. The price was great! Give her a go; you will not be disappointed.

I attended a tasting with my best friend, the bride, and was simply blown away with how down to earth Ms. Lameeka is and turning out the tastiest, very moist cake I'm sure I've ever had. Flavor combos only a trained and talented individual could bring together. This experience was amazing. I'm already thinking of some excuse to need her in the future.

I had the opportunity to attend my best friend appointment and The atmosphere was warm and inviting. Mrs. La'Meeka is very professional and confident, She Loves what she does, and that is making sure your final decision is what you are sure about. The cakes that we tasted was so delicious. She's definitely a Great Choice if cake is on the Menu.

Very unprofessional and tacky! First off my cake was the wrong color and did not have the cobalt blue ribbon we paid for. The cake had navy blue fondue which we told her we HATE fondue. She stole flowers from the table for my cake after the wedding coordinator ran upstairs to get them LaMeeka was GONE. I never saw her on my wedding day. I reached out to her after my wedding 7/7/18 and I am still waiting on her to return my call. Cakes By LaMeeka= Nightmare On Elm Street! Beware of who you do business with... This chick is money hungry! Good Luck

As a wedding planner I have worked with Cakes by LaMeeka on several occasions for my brides and grooms. Last year when I started planning my own 25th Wedding Anniversary there was no one else that I considered for my big day but Cakes by LaMeeka. Our cake was simply stunning.
