Jason has been the agency owner since January of 2008. He is a graduate of Lenoir-Rhyne University where he earned a Master of Business Administration degree. Jason is licensed in property, casualty, life, health, and long term care insurance. In addition, he is licensed to sell variable life and annuities, mutual funds, and other investment products.
In 1974, Herman "Smitty" Bolick established the agency in downtown Conover. Jason Herman worked for Mr. Bolick from 2005 to 2008 when he took ownership of the agency. In 2018, Jason Herman Insurance Agency acquired the Hunsucker Cooke Insurance Agency in Newton. This agency has been serving Newton since 1948.

The staff is amazing! I want to personally give a huge Thank You to Andrea Draughan and Andy Cote. The great service and professionalism these two show me on a constant basis is immaculate. I can email Andrea and in minutes I get an answer. I moved to SC 8 years ago, but there was never a question of moving to a different insurance company. These people are a part of our family and we are so appreciative of everything they do for us.

These guys are the greatest. Been with them since I started drive which is over 30 years ago. John is who I work with he goes wayyyy above and beyond. Even calls me after hours since I cannot take personal calls at work. He very kind and understanding. If he is not in, which is very rare Tonya is fantastic too. I will always be with them as my insurance carrier as long as John is there. John is always on my side. All of them are fantastic.
