Navab Brothers Oriental Rug
Sam and Far Navab select and sell rugs that showcase their own ideals: integrity, quality, authenticity and beauty. The Iranian-born brothers are known for their vast industry knowledge and ethical business practices, providing customers with exquisite rugs and exceptional service. Sam Navab was the first brother to unearth a passion for rugs.

In 1984, the University of Wisconsin-Stout graduate accepted an offer from a fellow Iranian to manage a rug business in Minneapolis. Though initially skeptical, Sam fell in love with rugs, especially the Persian rugs of his homeland. Four years later, Navab Brothers was born. Farzan "Far" Navab caught the "Rug Bug" from his brother, Sam.

Navab Brothers Rug Company was built on passion for craft and dedication to timeless quality. Our mission is to offer rugs handmade with integrity, using authentic materials, unique design and quality craftsmanship. Our selection ranges from contemporary, neutral modern rugs to centuries-old, antique pieces.
Navab Brothers sells only the highest-quality hand crafted rugs - each a true work of art. We also repair and clean rugs to help protect and maintain your investment for decades to come. It's the combination of these fibers and rug-making techniques that makes Navab Brothers rugs beautiful and durable.
A colleague recounts a story about picnicking in the countryside with his grandfather and a herd of sheep. The small town of Hawley, Minnesota is located east of Moorhead at the intersection of the Buffalo River, U.S. Route 10, and the Burlington Northern Railroad. On a Saturday morning in July of 2017 I had the distinct honor to have a brief audience with the Dalai Lama.

Nice showroom, friendly staff, and very nice rugs, but be forewarned that rugs here cost thousands to tens of thousands of dollars each depending on the size. The prices don't seem to be mentioned on their website so we spent an hour driving there for nothing.

The rug I purchased is beautiful and fits well with my eclectic style. When they came to lay the rug, their precision in guiding the carpet into it’s place of rest was perfect. No lumps or bumps.

I was able to buy some excellent carpets at affordable prices from his friends (as a poor graduate student I would never have been able to afford these at retail prices). When we moved to Minnesota, we started looking for a knowledgeable dealer and

We bought a rug there over 10 years ago. They said it would be free yearly lifetime cleaning. The promise has been kept. They still welcome me with a smile. This is a good business.

I just bought a rug from their warehouse. There were no signs posted that all sales are final. After I purchased the rug, I changed my mind and wanted to return it. The sales guy said all sales are final, it's clearly written on the receipt.
What a sneaky way to make a sale. Who states that on the sales receipt and not put up signs for it in the store or at the very least, mention it when I am buying it that this the rug cannot be returned.
The sales person was also extremely arrogant. When I was paying, I mentioned that I have seen the store before and he made a comment of how everything
