Over the years, Agri-Labs, Inc. has grown and changed as technology has advanced. When we began, we provided testing by soil type. Multiple soil samples were grouped together to get a reading for a certain soil type from each field. After several years of this method, we wanted to know what information we would find if each sample were ran separately.
That led us to the 2.5 acre grid sampling in 1986. The next ten years saw a major growth in technology and by 1995 we were offering GPS soil sampling. As technology continues to develop, Agri-Labs, Inc. is committed to investigating those opportunities and finding the ones that are beneficial to you.

Services
Agri-Labs provides a wide range of soil fertility programs to meet your operation's needs. Platinum Program- Utilizes high resolution SoilOptix(R) scanning to provide you with individual soil property maps, each with its own management zone map. Further details on the SoilOptix(R) program. Gold Program- Your fields are sampled on a 1.1 acre grid to provide a sampling option that has finer detail than the standard 2.5 acre grid.
Agri-Labs, Inc. operates our own lab. We receive samples directly from our personnel or from dealers and farmers directly. Either way, our process starts by drying the samples, running quality checks throughout the process and ending with the data for the day compiled and ready for release to the data processing center.
Phosphorous is important to plant growth in many different ways. It plays a major role in the early root formation and growth of the plant. Later, you will see greater flowering and seed production and better quality. Phosphorous also helps growth in cold temperatures and water-use efficiency. Plants need adequate supplies of P for their structural components of proteins, enzymes, nucleic acids and DNA.
Manure is a valuable resource that can supply essential crop nutrients to displace the need for commercial fertilizers and organic matter to improve soil structure. Efficient utilization of manure can substantially reduce your production costs and protect our environment. The nutrient content of manure can vary widely.
With the high prices of soil amendments, it is important that everything you apply be useful. With the 360 Y-DROP, you can apply nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium and other elements precisely at the base of the plant where it can be used. The 360 Y-DROP is adjustable to allow for 20-30 inch row spacing and is designed to glide carefully between the rows to avoid damage to the crops.
