With our humble Madison beginnings dating back to 1954, we have had the opportunity to work with this great community for over sixty years. Event Essentials is a division of A to Z RentAll, which started in 1954 on the east side of Madison.
From its humble start renting party equipment, tables and chairs the business has grown to serve the needs of weddings, event planners, corporate and community events, galas, graduations and other celebrations.A to Z RentAll's specialized event division became Event Essentials and is now located in Windsor, Wisconsin, just north of Madison.

No matter how prepared you are for your event, the weather or guest needs could require some last minute shuffling. Because we know that better than anyone, here's a list of things that might help. A: To make a reservation a 25% down payment is required at the time of booking. An additional 25% is due 90 days prior to the Out Date and the remaining payment is due 2 weeks prior to the Out Date when the order is finalized.

Ali helped us pull off a very last minute 50th birthday party the week before Christmas. I still can't believe they were able to do it. Ali had a completed contract to us complete from linens to lights in just a few hours.
The night was perfect and so much fun. It is very difficult these days to plan get together a with friends in a safe and comfortable environment with COVID. But this made the set-up very festive and we had over 80 friends that were able to stop by and enjoy safely. It made it even that much more special.

Shae at Event Essentials was so helpful and great at communication and collaboration as I worked out rentals for my wedding. I first reached out to Event Essentials to rent dessert plates. Then I needed napkins but couldn't find the right color and Shae offered to help. I sent the picture of what I was looking for and Shae found the right color. She even sent a sample to my parents house so I could see the exact color. Shae was always there to help, even when I was last minute trying to figure out if we could get a stage for the band. I rented a backdrop and acrylic stands for my wedding ceremony. Event essentials made the set up and tear down so easy. They even came to the ceremony space to make sure what I ordered would work in the space and made suggestions based on what they saw in the space. Very happy to have worked with them

Event Essentials was great in terms of communication and set up for our wedding. All items were accounted for on our day of, and setup/tear down was taken care of without me having to worry! There was some confusion on times for setup and clean up, but after speaking with the Sales Director, the entire situation was remedied. I appreciated their attentiveness to correcting the error. The only suggestion I have for future customers is to be sure to ask detailed questions, and have them in writing, regarding setup and tear down estimates. It'll save you potential confusion in the end! Thanks

We used event essentials for our decorating needs. I felt like they were easy to work with and the staff that came out to set up decorations were professional and timely. One thing that I wish I would have checked prior is if they set up chairs. We didn't realize that they didn't set up chairs and it added another 45 mins to our set up time. Lesson learn, don't be afraid to ask questions.

We were not happy with any aspect of doing business with Event Essentials. Once we ordered and paid a deposit for an amplification system and other decorative items for a wedding, we explored adding chairs for an outdoor wedding as well. That revealed a series of hidden fees such as extra costs for delivering at a specific time versus a 6 hour window. There would have also been extra charges for late pick up after hours which was not revealed initially either. The cost to cancel any items you've reserved is dicey and comes at a high cost (your deposit PLUS the entire amount of items that

Having worked in the rental industry before as well as several other customer service oriented jobs, I have a high level of expectation for professionalism. It seems this company is not entirely on the same page with that concept. Farrah was a delight to work with! She was polite and helpful both in person, over the phone, and via email. However, when she was unavailable to assist, her counter girl lacked a great deal of those qualities. She was curt on the phone and in person. I found her very rude and unaccomodating lacking a general respect that is important when dealing with customers. We drove

So they charge you the full amount but refund the difference when you return the bouncy house in dry and satisfactory condition. This would have been nice to know when I made the initial arrangements. The guys helping me unload it from my car were nice and helpful. I would reconsider using them again.

Wow. Don't rent from event essentials. They are not consumer oriented at all. I called to try to get some last minute items for a party I was planning. Since I was unable to meet their minimum order amount, they wanted to overcharge me for the item I requested. When I spoke with the manager asking for her to help me out given the circumstances, she rudely told me that she was unable to help me. I would not recommend renting anything from these people after this service. I have worked with other rental places in the past (Capitol City Tent Rental in McFarland), and they were outstanding. I
