Makeup By Anna Grimes

I knew I wanted to be a makeup artist since I was a Sophmore in high school. I was highlighting with shimmery eye shadow before highlighters exisited (can you believe there was such a time?). After finishing school and earning a cosmetologist license, I started working for cosmetic companies. This provided me the groundwork for being able to do makeup on many different types of faces of all ages and ethnic backgrounds.

Clients began asking me to do their makeup for special events outside of the store. This is when I started doing makeup for weddings and I fell in love with it. For the next 16 years my makeup career would take me to many different places. I worked as a freelance makeup artist, trainer, retail manager, and business manager for Estee Lauder, Chanel, and MAC.
