Services
Grand View Memorial Park & Crematory, Inc. is a 20 acre memorial park located just south of Kenneth Village in Glendale, California. The view is of the Verdugo Hills and it is the perfect setting for a memorial gathering. Please visit us when you can or give us a call to answer any questions you might have about Grand View or about the future of Grand View.
Yesterday, 12/27/17 I was treated with extreme kindness by the owners of Grand View Memorial Park and wish to express my appreciation. The lady and the gentleman who assisted me in my research went beyond anything necessary to help me. The lady in particular was wonderful to me as she showed me the West Mausoleum.
At Grand View we pay special attention to the growing number of people that have chosen cremation. It offers value to families and can provide important memorialization. Whether your wishes include only cremation or some rites or ceremonies, our knowledgeable staff will be able to assist you. Our detailed General Price List is available on request.
Before 2006, some families or individuals may have asked Grand View to place money in trust. That money would have been intended to cover some or all of the future cost of certain merchandise they desired to have at the time of death, for example a memorial marker. Any such money received by Grand View was placed in a trust fund with trustees external to the cemetery ownership/management.

I just visited the cemetery. My uncle is buried there. I know that there is a lot of history with the cemetery and former owner. I was hoping to see them new management was taking care of the cemetery but so far I see nothing. The cemetery needs a lot of help and a lot of work. I’ll help in any which way I can. Very sad!

It breaks my heart to see the sorry state of neglect this cemetery is in. It looks the worst I have ever seen it. Even worse than during & after the former scandalous owners had it. I thought that the latest owners would be taking care of it, but they are not. The grass is completely dead, & yellow, except in some areas like near the entrance & where they are still selling plots/ having burials. The office staff wasn't helpful either. I had to practically beg for help with how to use the flower container at my sister's grave. Finally a nice grounds worker came & helped me remove the container so

There’s a large and well fed pack of coyotes living in there. About half appear to be juveniles. They are dangerous, aggressive, and do not fear humans. I have no idea why Glendale has not addressed this.

Unfortunately I have been to a few funerals here but they seem to do a very good job. I have been to funerals with as a few as 50 people and as many as 400 people and they seem to accommodate all size groups. With the 400 people, less than half could fit in the chapel so they had plenty of seats outside and the technology was very good with sound systems and TVs to see what was going on inside from the outside. The cemetery is well maintained and peaceful with lots of shady trees plus it is easy on and off access from the freeway

Writing this as visitor and not someone who owns a plot or has family buried there. It’s a very quiet smaller cemetery with a lot of history in it. Tucked away in the neighborhood l, it doesn’t get a lot of traffic. I like that there are headstones there from the 1800’s. It looks like there are plots there old enough where no living relatives visit anymore. Can tell by those part being overgrown. At the same time there are very well kept plots and a nice statue in the central round about.

I don't know when anyone else was there but when I went about a month ago I had to go to the office to get help to find my parents grave because so many stones we're totally covered in dry brown crab grass. While I was looking on my own I gave up and fled to my car as two coyotes we're watching me and moving in closer toward me. There are actually signs on the grounds to be alert to wild coyotes roaming the grounds. All the grass was either dead or completely gone. A lady in the office helped me find the grave but the flower holder was embedded and could not be removed and there were no maintainence

Claire was extremely knowledgeable, understanding, helpful and made the process as smoothly as possible during the time of our lost. Claire advised us the cemetery is under new management and they will be updating and caring for the property. I liked all the trees, a cozy feeling, the view of the mountains, and the staff are friendly!

The gentleman in the office was very helpful. The park looks so much better now. Years ago, I had to cut down weeds and then dig around to find the headstones. Now the park is green again. and many of the stones have been trimmed around. Keep up the good work, folks. Thanks.
