Lake Nokomis began, and continues to be, a family owned and operated business. In 1973, Dave began as a hired hand on the farm located next to beautiful North Nokomis Lake, between Sugar Camp & Lake Tomahawk, WI. In 1977 after much hard work and vision, Dave purchased the farm naming it Lake Nokomis Cranberries.
Since then, Dave has grown the farm from 50 to 320 producing acres, increasing the quality, quantity, and varieties of berries, as well as employee housing. In 2010, Dave expanded his business by purchasing the marsh his Father started in the 1930's in Stone Lake WI. The Stone Lake marsh is now managed by his eldest son Dave Jr., and has 60 producing acres with plans for future expansion.

A very neat place. I don't care much for wine or touristy type gift shops, but something about it being in the middle of the woods really makes this place special. I have taken visitors from larger cities here a couple times and all have enjoyed it. I also have nothing negative to say about any products I have tried from here.
If you like craft beer, I'd recommend the oak aged wine.
I can't wait until pandemic is over to do the tour!

The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. The wine is *amazing* (I personally recommend the Ben Lear, but you honestly can't go wrong). We also got all kinds of fun stuff from the shop, like local honey, wine cheese dip, wine brownie mix, soap, and fun signs. It's charming and cozy and a great place to stop. We got a tour of the bogs a while back which was also super fun! Also! Wine tasting!! 🍷❤👌
