I live in a Mobile Home Park. We have had issues since they took over feom our lasr collection. 3 out of 4 weeks a month they are late. Yes I understand issues atise but thier issues are too often. We pay for a service and its set for a specific day and tomorrow will be 3 days late. I called out management office and they advised me they haven't heard from them since 4 pm yesterday.

The storm that Ankeny got on August 10th got blew my trash can away and when I called Sparta on August 11th they were unprofessional on telling me that my neighbors took it or how It didn’t just blow away on the interstate and go way and to get a new one when it wasn’t even my fault it would be $95 For a new one when I wasn’t even home to prevent it from blowing away.

I didn’t hire this company but I will say they are very unprofessional To be coming into our neighborhood at 4am to pick up a couch for one of my neighbors. I was was woken up and they ran over our grass when backing up leaving huge deep tire tracks in our grass that I now have to fix. I will be sending an email to city city to submit a complaint. There is a noise ordinance and you should not be conducting business in a residential area at this hour.

Sparta is a joke. I have to deal with them since my community commited to them since they were the lowest bidder. We had good services through Ankeny sanitation and this place is a crock. Expect them to not come out, and when they do it’s not your trash day you have overage of trash that they refuse to take. They use to allow recycle, and when they did they would just rummage through your belongings just to take what they want and leave the leftovers. If it were me I’d pick a different professional, respectful, reliable company. Like I stated before this company is a joke and shouldn’t even

Very unprofessional drivers. They always block the road and wont move. Drivers are rude when you talk to them and truck 555 just about hit me head on and forced me out of my lane.today .waste management aint much better but its been 20 years since they actually hit me head on

Critical: Professionalism, Quality
We live in a mobile park and they switched to Sparta and they are terrible. Our trash days are supposed to be tuesdays and you never know what day they’re going to actually show up. Writing this review on a Wednesday and trash is still sitting on the curb not picked up.

STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS.
To potential customers : Sparta waste is a company that does not care about its customers or employees. They will continuously miss trash days, leave trash everywhere, and rack up charges for any slight inconvenience presented to them. Your money will be better spent with any other company.
To potential employees : prepare to have your wages held from you without explanation, to never be given a pay stub, to be accused of doing things that never happened, to be told to continuously work 12-16 hour days with no overtime pay. In my time at Sparta there was not one paycheck
