In January of 2000, brothers Adam and Rusty Lane started buying and selling used equipment under the name of Georgia Equipment Company, Inc. They were looking for a location to expand Georgia Equipment Company's exposure as a buyer and seller. In March of 2000, they bought out Dye Farm Equipment in Swainsboro, GA.
Adam brought with him an established trailer dealer network of more than 7 years of work and more than 20 dealers. Rusty was employed by Terry and Sons, Inc., a tractor dealership owned by their father, Mr. Terry Lane, located in Sylvania, GA. Rusty brought with him his knowledge and experience of retail sales, parts and service.

If you don't know how to use internet at your auctions then don't use it. Bid on 28' ladder. Won bid at $90 marked sold. Drove 30+ miles is pouring rain to pick it and one other item I got only to be told "no we sold that on the floor" & when I asked how is that possible when I won and bidding was over because I would have bid again if it was still open I was told they don't really know how the internet works??? Wth? Apparently what they don't know is how the auction works. Sold is sold. You don't sell to your buddy on the floor once marked sold
