We purchased our 340 acre farm in 1969, and with a herd of 40 Holstein cows, dairy farmed for 20 years. In 1989, we sold our cows and ventured out on our family project to build a campground. Our workforce included myself (JoAnn), my husband Bernie, our son Ben, who at the time was 10 years old, and our daughter Carri, who was 7 years old then.
Leon Valley Campground offers something for every sort of camping style, from those that were outfitted with all the latest gear to those "hardy" ones that prefer more primitive camping, all located in the scenic Hidden Valley region. Offering a range of sizes to accommodate everything from large RV's and 5th wheels to smaller camping trailers to pop-ups and tents, you will love this campground!
Three great cabins! Leon Valley Campgrounds offer three very nice sleeping cabins available to campground guests. The cabins are virtually identical, with the exception that the large cabin has a sleeping loft. The two small cabins each have a full-sized bed and a set of bunk beds, with a partition in between.
At Leon Valley Campground, you will enjoy a rustic environment with all of the amenities that will make your stay memorable. Swimming, basketball, volleyball, arcade games and pool are just some of the many activities that you and your family can enjoy. If a nature walk is what you are looking for, you won't be disappointed!
Conveniently located, the main playground area is next to Leon Valley Campground's swimming pool and adjacent to the picnic grounds. It features a climbing gym, swings, slides and a small area for sandbox activities. Also nearby are the game and recreation room, volleyball and basketball courts. Leon Valley Campgrounds offers many safe and fun activities for the younger campers.

I have stayed here twice. Both on motorcycle trips. It is a great clean campground and the owners were so kind. They checked me in with a simple phone call. There was wifi that worked wonderfully as my Google Fi service was spotty. Firewood was five dollars a bundle and camping only 22. I can't wait to camp here again.

We love this home away from home we have found at Leon Valley Campground. Nice staff, clean and filled with trees and trails :) ... No sewer hook up and low wifi capabilities could make it hard for a large a family, but we have found a way to make it all work because it's truly a treat to stay here.

Nice ,quiet campground,it was busy the weekend and the bathrooms needed more attention than they received since there is no sewer hookup and most campers used their facilities otherwise it was an ok stay and would probably use them again . One other thing was the positions of some of the fire rings our neighbors was right along our rv and they smoked us out, not cool...

Traveling with my family on the Trans Wisconsin Adventure Trail we came across Leon Valley Campground. We camp by tent and the tent sites are large, private, and clean. The spot we had had electric (we don’t use it when we camp) and a water spigot right on site. The staff was friendly and accommodating. They have a pool but we didn’t have time to swim. If I’m ever around this area again I would definitely enjoy staying here another time.
