Dr. Haworth grew up in a small town on the eastern side of Washington. From a young age, he developed a love for sports and the outdoors. He grew up participating in soccer, baseball, competitive swimming and lots of other activities. As an adult, he especially loves freestyle skiing, mountain biking and hiking.
Treatment will vary by condition using exercises, stretches, and body movements to improve healing. Summit to Shore Chiropractic focuses on keeping you moving and enjoying the Tahoe lifestyle. I've been going to Darin for a couple months for shoulder, neck, and back pain and have noticed a huge difference. I've always been a believer of chiropractic care and was going to someone down in Sacramento before I moved here. After I moved to Tahoe I didn't get adjusted for a year, so I was pretty stiff. Darin doesn't just adjust you quickly and move on to the next. He actually takes his time to ask how everything is feeling since the last visit and makes adjustments to your care based on your feedback. He also spends time loosening up the muscles before adjusting you and does some stretching

I've been seeing Darin for neck and back issues for the last few months, and noticed measurable improvements in my pain and flexibility. He's understanding and patient, and educates you on the background/context of what's going on with your body before getting into the adjustment. We've also worked on quite a few stretches that have helped. He's a great chiropractor and I'd recommend him to anyone looking in the SLT area!

Two of my close friends needed pain management help and Darin developed a chiropractic plan for each of their needs and has helped them tremendously! I have just started treatment at Summit to Shore for Drop Foot. In the first week, I learned about the pinched or irritated nerve causing my foot to drop. In the first week I received a ten page email from Summit to Shore telling me how to do everyday movements properly. For example, keeping my knees together when entering a vehicle. The email also contained stretches and exercises. I noticed improvements in my second week, like more flexibility in my foot, leg, and back. I am looking forward to more improvements in week three.
