As Rose City's Commodore for 2021, I want to welcome you to the "friendliest yacht club on the river." First organized in 1932 by a group of Portland boaters on the Willamette River, the Rose City Yacht Club has evolved over time to its present location on the Columbia River and consisting of over 150 members and boats that embrace all aspects of yachting, whether it be day-sailing, racing or cruising.

We are known as a fun loving, down to earth, and do-it-yourself club. We welcome both sail and power boaters to our membership. We take pride in our facilities, have and operate our own dredge, and believe that social activities and community are important aspects to all our members.
