Rock Valley Compounding pharmacy was founded by its Pharmacist-owner, Jon Lehan, PharmD. Dr. Lehan is a fourth-generation pharmacist and grew up working in his parents' independent pharmacy in DeKalb, IL. He is a 2004 graduate of the University of Iowa College of Pharmacy. He served for 3 years after graduation in the United States Air Force, and has worked in independent pharmacy in Northern Illinois since 2008.

My Dr recommended a prescription that could only be prepared by Rock Vally Compounding Pharmacy. They contacted me immediately about filling the prescription and mailed out promptly. Very professional and courteous staff. They explained thoroughly the medication and answered all my questions. When a steroid injection into an inflamed hip bursa did not work for me, like it has always worked in the past, I was absolutely crushed, since there could not be another injection for 3 months.
The Dr's office offered to call in a Rx for a topical compound cream. As the nurse was telling me what was in it, I was literally rolling my eyes while on the phone, because I "knew" it wouldn't work, but I agreed to try it.

Not every person has the same medicinal needs. At RVCP they can create custom compounds tailored specifically to your needs as directed by your doctor. I’m very happy with my service received they had to wait for my dr to get back with refills by that time I was taking my last pill the young lady I believe her name was Emily had the lab get my meds in to be made that day and she even delivered them on her way home to my house! Outstanding customer service! She really went above and beyond to make sure I had my meds to take without missing a dose I really appreciate all her hard work! Thank you!

After dealing with hip surgery due to falling from a collapsing ladder, my knee became painful and my movements were limited. After 9 months of using a good topical pain reliever, I was in my pharmacy and was directed to contact Rock Valley Compound Pharmacy by one of their staff. I did and was told I needed a prescription so I sent a message to my Doctor. He spoke with Rock Valley and they came up with the prescription I have been using.
