Keeping your horses healthy for over 20 years; Equine Health Management is a group of independent equine veterinarians who share office space. This unique setup allows us to better serve our clients by providing extended services such as 24 hour Emergency care, Dental, Reproductive, and Sports Medicine specialist in addition to our general equine medicine.
An emergency situation can be extremely stressful for both you and your horse, so the most helpful thing to do is stay calm. Keep our contact info in an accessible place near your phone, which will save you valuable time and ensure your horse receives the care he or she needs. We know that emergency situations can turn your world upside down, so we seek to guide you through the process and make sure the outcome is as positive as possible.
Dr. Laxineta earned a B.S. in animal science from UC Davis in 1979. He graduated from UCD Veterinary School in 1983. Animal health care is a family affair as both his wife and daughter are UC Davis alumni in Small Animal Veterinary Medicine. Since 1985 Dr. Laxineta has been in equine practice in Temecula Valley.
Jerry J. Rutz was born and raised in Wyoming on his family farm and cattle ranch. In 1978 Dr. Rutz received his D.V.M from Kansas State University, College of Veterinary Medicine and has been practicing equine medicine in Murrieta, CA and the surrounding area ever since. His practice includes a wide variety of clients and patients of all types.
