Eli was fabulous he walked us through getting the gas fireplace going again (the pilot would not lite), over the phone and saved us the cost of a visit and we immediately got our fireplace lit.

So glad we found this place! Excellent customer service. Expert installation. Competitive prices! Eli is a great asset to this company!

Jeff was knowledgeable, professional an offered us several options. He gave insight to potential issues in our older home and let us know specifics on permits and checking with our H.O.A. Beautiful showroom work many styles and decor.

First time we visited, we had friendly quick service. Today, we went back to order and they only have two sales reps. They were both with customers. There was one lady ahead of us waiting to be acknowledged. We waited for 10 minutes for someone to at least say hi. No one did so we had track down a rep to see if anyone could help us. The sales rep was completely unapologetic that there wasn't enough help available so we left.

Do not deal with this company they are a nightmare with honoring their warranty and customer service is horrible! I didn't even want to give 1 star but couldn't post without

So, my condo fireplace was dated. Very late 80s early 90s feel. And I wanted a more modern and contemporary feel, plus being close to the beach it was somewhat rusted and run down.
The folks over at Fireplace Plus did a fantastic job. Looks great, works excellent and was exactly what I wanted. Now, if you are looking for quick/cheapy job these are not the people to go to. If you want it done right and professional looking then look no further. I would use them again if I had another fireplace.

If you go here, make sure you have all of the dimensions and a lot of money. I tried walking out right after I got there but was swayed back in. Then after learning how rigid the sales lady was, I again walked out as I didn't have enough details and measurements. I was just trying to look at styles and was grilled with details and how my contractor should be shopping for me instead of me looking. Not impressed at all. It was a frustrating experience.

This is a very nice place to see what is available and what you may want or need to dress up your fireplace. Jeff took good care of us and has a great demeanor. He is patient and knowledgeable. There was no pressure to buy right this minute.

We had Wayne at Fireplaces Plus come out to condition our 3 gas fireplaces. We called one day and they came the next He did an amazing job and the company is always prompt and Wayne was very polite and answered all my safety questions very thoroughly! (I ask a LOT of questions!) I would definitely recommend this company for any of your fireplace needs! They also made a follow up call to us to check on the job. Thank you, Wayne!

Few people have the knowledge, expertise, and family oriented service than the people at FPP. I stumbled across Janie and her husband Rick when I was a teenager and man has it served me well through out all of my needs for my home and outdoor patio. Ignore any bad reviews you see, there is not better place to turn to for home/hearth etc.

Stopped in to get general information on direct vent fireplaces. Our polite questions to the female salesperson asking for general idea of installation costs were met with vague answers and confrontational attitude - the whole conversation seemed like a battle. Decided to call the next day to ask for installation dimensions of the other salesman; got directed to his voicemail and now 3 days later still no return call. Seems this company doesn't want our business.

I had a terrible experience with Jeff Chandler and Fireplaces Plus. I have an extensive email record with him, and at no point does he tell me that in order to operate these fireplaces, the doors must be open. This of course poses a fire hazard. If you close the doors on fireplaces with these electronic starters, the starters will melt. None of this was communicated to me, and when I spoke to Jeff he was quite surly on the phone. Avoid this company at all cost.

Janie went above and beyond to help me get everything we needed to get two fireplaces up and running before Thanksgiving. Although the store was extremely busy Janie made sure the logs were delivered on time for installation. Jeff was also very helpful. Victor was our installer. He was very kind. Efficient and clean! Janie's follow up was icing on the cake. I could not be more happy with my experience at Fireplaces Plus. Hard to find customer service like this these days! I will recommend your services and will defiantly use Fireplaces Plus again! Thank you!

Thank You all at Fireplaces Plus - Your going out of your way to find new glass for the door of an rather old wood burning stove is remarkable. Your workmanship is so as well - one can even set the time after your prompt arrivals and deliveries. You even helped out with a small heater until I could make a fire again, and you never stopped being on the order, even repeatedly giving updates on the progress during evening hours. Again: Thank You! I will make sure to spread the word and recommend you where ever I can.

They get 2 stars for their selection, which is very good. But that's it for positives. As previous reviewers have noted, they are not friendly. But I was willing to put up with it in order to find something cool and unusual for our dual-sided fireplace. The woman seemed to want to punch me in the face the entire time, but I ended up buying a beach driftwood set-up for gas fireplace (after having to go home and take lots of pictures and filling out forms per her request).

I found this place via Yelp and am very pleased that I decided to make the drive out to south San Marcos.

I parked on the street and entered through the showroom. There is a second entrance near the garage area if you park in the parking lot. They have quite a variety of fireplaces, indoor and out, and well as fire pits. They also have every possible accessory you could imagine, if they don't have it there they can order it.

They were very busy when I arrived. That was fine by me as I perused the showroom for ideas. Eli was the associate that helped me out. I went in with a basic idea of
