Services
Shielded windows protect electronic equipment from EMI/RFI radiation. Shielding Express Inc. shielded windows come in two constructions: woven screen laminated between polycarbonate or glass and wire mesh homogeneously imbedded in molded acrylic. Each provides up to 95% optical transmissivity in viewing of characters and displays while, at the same time, dramatically attenuating EMI/RFI.
This composite gasketing material is designed for use in suppressing EMI/RFI while at the same time providing an effective, full pressure, environmental seal between mating surfaces. It is comprised of conductive wires oriented perpendicular to the mating surfaces and embedded in sponge or solid silicone elastomer.
Foil Shield and Seal is a thin sheet EMI/RFI gasket material that consists of a thin expanded metal foil with the openings filled with solid silicone elastomer. This material has very uniform thickness and can be routinely cut into high frequency connector gaskets or piping gaskets with standard tooling.
The Woven Shield and Seal EMI/RFI gasket is a sheet material that consists of densely woven wire screen with the openings filled with silicone or neoprene elastomer. This construction results in an effective shielded gasket in the form of a thin, semi-flexible, mechanically reinforced sheet that can be utilized as a pressure seal.
This particle filled silicone elastomer material provides excellent EMI/RFI shielding plus environmental protection at operating temperatures to 200°C. It is produced in a wide range of conductive particles and durometers to meet varying performance requirements, including salt spray corrosion resistance.
