Services
There are many exquisite Moroccan and Moorish style architectural elements that can add beauty and function to the project. We offer custom woodwork for screen dividers, Masharabiyya, Arabesque wood carvings and Islamic wood carving. We also offer both custom and antique doors and panels. Our Moroccan mosaic zelij tile is made in the traditional way and is made to your specifications.
Mosaic is a form of decorative art in which small tiles or fragments of tile are used to create a pattern or picture. The process is known as "Zelij" in North Africa, also spelled zellig or "zilij". All of the Moroccan Mosaic Zelij is produced in the historic city of Fez. Our Moroccan mosaic artisan begins by hand-cutting the 4"x4" square piece of mosaic tile into the desired shape.
Moroccan light fixtures and Moorish style lighting can add an exquisite mood to any space. Tazi Designs shop in California offers a wide range of Moroccan lamps and lanterns, handcrafted Moorish lights, wall sconces and ceiling fixtures. All our Moroccan lighting fixtures are handmade and most are exclusive to Tazi Designs.
We offer a variety of Moroccan inspired wall sconces with a modern twist. Our wall lights, Mediterranean sconces and Moorish lamps are handcrafted in Morocco. We use primarily brass to construct our unique lights. We'd find our exquisite lighting in upscale hotels, spas, restaurants and beautiful residences throughout the United States and in many other countries around the world.
Tazi Designs offers standard Moroccan Lanterns and outdoor lighting at every budget as well as high end Moroccan lighting. Whether you are looking for a simple but exotic gift, or building, remodeling a home, incorporating Moorish architecture theme with high end Moroccan fixtures, Tazi Designs can help.

Tazi is a real artist, his works are very unique, creative, with Middle East touch! We were looking for some unique furniture that people wonāt see them at every store. Tazi was super patient with us and showed his entire showroom to me and my girlfriend. We purchased a daybed, brass ceiling light, leather ottoman, and wood table. We are so happy with his art work and have received many compliments from our friends in just a week.
Highly recommend Tazi design if you looking for something unique to create a different environment at your home.

I discovered Tazi Designs online but had previously heard of what a beautiful store they had in Sausalito. I am a designer and I was recently working with a client out of Texas. We were looking for a beautiful unique pendant light that would really offset the tone of our bathroom. After sourcing other lights nothing else compared. We decided to go ahead and purchase from them and the customer service I received was exceptional. They called me back in a timely manner and even sent me stock photos of the light. Fantastic customer service and happy with the product!! Beautiful!!

Tazi Designs has some of THE most beautiful furnishings and art work you will ever want to find. Tazi's sense of space, his incredible taste in furnishings, his charm and knowledge around everything Moroccan makes just speaking with him an experience in and of itself. The way the showroom is set up, makes you feel immediately that you are in Marrakesh or Fes and what a pleasure that is! It's somewhere where you will want to move into immediately and just stay. Creating a feel of the Medina and having the colors and textures of Morocco in your house makes it even more of a pleasure to

I love Tazi Designs! I can't thank Tazi enough for his dedication to making my home and surroundings beautiful through the years. I've moved 3x since I started collaborating with Tazi in 2011 and each space were transformed in the best way, in harmony with my lifestyle. The showroom in Hayes Valley was a treasure trove full of quality goods and of design inspo! I secretly wished for things I saw and touched there. When the day came for me to actually shop that wish list I did without hesitation nor regret. Tazi Designs' craftsmen made my ceilings pendants, table & floor lamps, large bespoke mirrors

TAZI DESIGNS is everything superb I had heard about from my many friends and colleagues who had bought either Chandelliers or Poufs or one of a kind Mirror and furnitures and I must admit I went there to pick up a Moroccan Tea Pot and precious tea glassesĀ and got out with all of the above including my tea pot.Yes I have a mini Riad in our home and I owe it to Mr Tazi for his magnificent service, curtesy and miraculous finds. I highly recommend Tazi Designs, they are unsurpassed.Raquel B Prolman

One star is way too much for this horrible company! Do not buy from here! I ordered an oversized moroccan pouf (42"x16") from them and within two months it ripped at the stitching. The company refused to replace the pouf and also refused to have it repaired. It was a complete waste of time and money. I think it's reasonable to expect an item to last longer than two months before it tears. Especially when spending $1,350.00. This company is not only rude, but they sell very poor quality items. Do yourself a favor and shop elsewhere. I wish i did.

I was so excited to find this place online since it looked like they had the Moroccan theme I was looking for to furnish my new place.... my excitement only lasted until I walked through the door.
The "office manager," Sarah I think, was totally disinterested and rude. I was clearly very interested in buying and asked her several questions, but she would not even get up from her desk. She kept referring me to their website for more details. I explained that I had visited the website in advance and it was very basic, no options were listed. At that point she switched it to "

You already stepped out of your cube to go to Blue Bottle, so why rush back and maybe spill the ochre gold on your wrist -- unpleasant and wasteful. The nice folks at Tazi may let you sit at their little table outside if you ask nicely. Sip, savor, close your eyes and Linden morphs into a side street off the Jam'a al-Fnaa Square. The assortment of Moroccan lanterns and leather poufs are pleasant and eye-catching too.

If you ever feel the need to escape the city for a few minutes, duck into this shop tucked away on Linden. It's cheaper than a flight to Fez and you don't have to worry about getting any shots before you travel.
They offer truly beautiful Moroccan poufs, graphic tagines, stunning lanterns, antique doors, and everything else you'll need to convince anyone you spent the last year in Morocco procuring these treasures (you can order from the website, too).
Stop by Blue Bottle first, wander in with coffee in hand, and leave refreshed. Repeat as necessary.
