MVM Moving was founded as Maumee Valley Movers in 2006 in Toledo, Ohio, by a young owner/operator and a small crew with a passion for excellent customer service. When MVM Moving owner, Tony Fox, worked as a mover in high school, he found that northwest Ohio lacked a moving company that paid as close attention to the clients as it did to the items being moved. While taking business courses at Owens Community College, Tony set out to create his own small crew whose focus was excellent customer service.

I highly recommend this company for a move. The guys were true professionals while loading and unloading all of our household goods. They were also quick and efficient with their time. The crew that came to our residence was Kobe, Tanner, Matt L and Dante T, they were super hardworking and amazing! I wish I could rate this company higher than 5 stars! Along with the crew this company is very affordable.

The guys who helped us move we’re nothing short of AWESOME! They were on time as expected, careful with our belongings, and were friendly and professional the entire time. They even dropped off a few things at our storage unit on the way. This was our first time using a moving company and I highly recommend MVM!

My wife talked me into using a mover this time , so we followed the reviews and chose MVM. Could not be happier with the whole experience! The crew arrived on time and worked very quickly and carefully to get everything loaded up, transported, and unloaded. The crew was friendly and polite and very enjoyable to work with. I liked it so much that I had MVM come back a week later to get the remaining garage boxes and patio furniture that I was originally going to move myself. VERY highly recommended, money very well spent!!

The movers we had (Andy, Nick, William, and Dalton) were very hard working, did not waste anytime loading and unloading the truck. We even had them empty a large storage unit that was delivered to our new house. Very organized, Andy is a real team leader!! Can’t say enough about him. We recommend this company with an A+ Couldn’t have gotten a better crew!!

I needed some recently refinished patio furniture picked up and delivered so I called MVM. They quickly scheduled Joe Walker to do the job. He was THE BEST! He had all of the freshly painted patio furniture wrapped and stacked. He was so careful to protect the finish while running to save time. What an asset he is to a great local company. Andre and Tyler did a phenomenal job at moving my couches and a few other items to my new place! They did everything quick and efficiently while ensuring everything was safe and secure! Also the customer service and follow up from the office staff was flawless! The only thing I could say negatively, was that my initial quote was not very accurate, and ended up being over $100 more, and that shouldn’t have been the case as everything was ready and nothing slowed them down. I cannot tell you how amazing this company is. Tyler L, Braden, Joe and Tyler were our crew. We went from a very large home to a small condo and two storage units. These guys were phenomenal. They were polite as well as hardworking. They went above and beyond. They were happy and very fun to be around. Finished what should have been a day and a half move in one day and under estimated price. I will never use any other company. Five ⭐️ service!

April 13, 2019, 2 young men came to help me load my belongings from my condo into my 2 PODS. I basically loaded one POD with my boxes and plastic tubs while they loaded the other with my furniture. They helped me load my POD at the end, with the heavier items. Very nice young men and seemingly worked pretty hard. I had a large stack of blankets for them to use. At the end when there was 1-2 left, they said they didn't need them. When unloading the PODS, I found my deceased sister's book shelves gashed in the front of the top. My hutch had scratches on it too, on the front and top

We had issues from start to finish. One of our movers was training, both of our movers did not work quickly and damage occurred to several of our items moved. Both movers and our truck driver were unprofessional, our truck driver smoked during the majority of the job and soiled bathrooms at both our new and old house. When I called MVM to discuss these issues, the supervisor did not seem concerned and no one has followed up with me about our moving issues from 3 weeks ago.

I hired these guys to load my UPack truck based on these Yelp reviews and I regret it. I should have looked at the "not recommended" reviews to get the full story. I was thrilled they had same-week availability, but I didn't ask myself why.
They started off loading everything properly, toward the front of the truck, with the right weight distribution and slope. But soon they gave up and just started tossing things in the truck. I've moved 18 times around the country in 9 years for work, because that's just the way my industry works. I used them based on their ratings and comments. I was not very impressed compared to other moves. The 2 guys that did the move damaged a few items and walls. They left a number of scratches around the house, stained my couch by rolling it on it's side, on the ground without protection, and did a mostly half assed job. Luckily, my couch was under warranty and I got it redone. However, the walls and other items needed to be repaired by me. I love to support local businesses and

I will never move my own things again, after using Maumee Valley Movers. The guys were prompt, super friendly, efficient, and got me in set up in my new home must faster than I expected. Also very reasonably priced. Moving can be extremely frustrating, but these guys made it a breeze. I will recommend them to all friends and family.

MVM only gets two stars because they were affordable. The two movers we had were very accommodating the day off, but broke several things and didn't reassemble anything properly. After finding bolts and washers on the floor, we realized that our toddlers bed was not reassembled properly. They only bolted opposite ends and set one corner ON TOP of the bolt. It's just our toddlers bed, who needs it to be safe?? Our new dining room table was also not reassembled properly. Our master bed came apart mid-sleep because the headboard wasn't even attached to the bed.

Maumee Valley Movers were excellent.
I had to do two moves recently. The first was with Glass City Movers - who were absolutely horrible. So, I decided to do the second part of the move with Maumee Valley Movers.
Todd and Justin V arrived on time, brought the proper equipment, were exceptionally respectful of me and my items, and were all around very pleasant people. They even finished the move in under the time that I estimated. I honestly can't say enough nice things about them and MVM.
When and If I move again, I will use MVM again. I highly recommend them.
