Nejla Smith, CPA opened Compass Tax & Accounting Prof LLC in January of 2018. Nejla graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Sioux Falls with a Bachelor's of Arts degree in Accounting. She went on to become a Certified Public Accountant and passed all tests on the first attempt. She worked at another public accounting firm for five years before deciding to start her own business.

Luis Reynoza is the Office Manager at Compass Tax & Accounting Prof LLC. He came on board in April of 2018. Luis specializes in payroll processing for small businesses and individual tax preparation. Luis is also a Notary Public in the state of South Dakota.

I am so appreciative to have had my taxes completed at Compass Tax and Accounting last year. Nejla is certified public accountant with great credentials and integrity. She treated me with respect and warmth. So of course, I returned this year and I am happy that I did! Nejla was incredibly sweet and made me feel like family. I highly recommend her services to anyone with accounting needs. Again, she is a CPA and well versed to take on any accounting needs!

My SSN was fraudulently used for reported income in 2017, I was made aware of this by the IRS in 2019. I was instructed to contact Compass Tax from the business (Cheap Cars) that had reported that income as a write off. Nejla reassured me this could be a "quick fix" and would be able to change the tax forms. I had tried contacting her after my first initial call, she would not return my calls. I finally had to reach out through Facebook after I received a letter stating I owed $5,000 to the IRS. She finally called me back after I asked if I needed a lawyer and told me, "that her hands were tied
