Happy Valley Credit Union was chartered by the State of Tennessee in1933 to service the employees of NARC & Bemberg. Our Name was originally Bemberg-Glanzstoff Credit Union. Since then we have had two other Credit Unions to merge with Happy Valley Credit Union. We also have included in our field of membership various employer groups and most of the census tract areas of Carter County, TN and the family of members.

This is my family bank. Couldn't ask for no better service or people here. I absolutely love the workers. They always made sure I was taken care of and when I had questions they actually cared and answered to the best of there knowledge. This is my very first bank and I'm positive it's going to be only one.

This place has been steadily going downhill since the passing of the long time CEO in August 2020. The new CEO has come in and completely changed all the policies and procedures. She is hateful to the employees and the customers. Several long time employees have retired or flat out quit because of her actions. It used to be a friendly, fun place to bank, but now I dread even going in to do my banking. They aren't friendly anymore. Example...I went to the window of one the newer tellers, I said "Good Morning" to her and she rolled her eyes at me. I am in the process of moving my accounts to another

This use to be a great place to bank. I have been a customer for 12 yrs and since this new system I have to run my check down alway holding it. This new system was a BIG MISTAKE. The bank tellers are great but the bank manager needs to look into this new system you will lose some customers if this keeps up!!!!!!

My wife and I went in looking for information about a car loan a few weeks ago. The two people we interacted with acted like we were inconveniencing them. Five minutes after going into one lady's office to discuss account and loan options, she took a clearly personal, non-emergency phone call right at her desk with us sitting there twiddling our thumbs. After she chatted for about ten minutes, I was ready to just get up and walk out. Shortly after, we did walk out after being told their loan rates.
I would definitely NOT recommend this sleepy, unprofessional credit union to anybody.
