When the big toe of one foot consistently presses too hard against the toe directly next to it, something called a bunion can form. A bunion is an overgrowth of bone on the big toe joint, which can cause a visible and often painful or sore protrusion on the side of the foot. Treatments can vary from simple orthotics to surgical; for severe cases you will want the best doctor for bunion surgery Orange County has to offer.
When an imbalance occurs in the ligaments, muscles or tendons that usually keep the toes straight, a condition called hammertoe can occur. This condition is considered a deformity of the foot and is characterized by an abnormal bending in the middle joint of the toe. Hammertoes most commonly affect the middle toes of the feet between the big toe and the pinkie toe.
Did you know? The human foot houses 26 bones, and the heel bone is the largest. True for any other bone in the foot, or the rest of the body, the heel bone can become injured, and when it does, the pain can range from annoying to completely disabling. Figuring out what is causing the pain and then treating it is crucial because unchecked heel pain issues can develop into larger foot, gait, and balance issues later.

Dr. Jeffrey is a sweetheart, very nice and very professional. He cares about is patients.
The biggest problem I have is his nurses, they will not allow me to see him. I am supposed to have surgery back in March or May, the nurses blocked me. They told me, my medical insurance embarrasses them and called me horrible names. I did tell him yes. The Stars are for Jeffrey

Newport Foot and Ankle Center, headed by Dr. Jeffrey Haupt, is one of the highest efficiency and most customer service focused podiatry offices that I've ever had the pleasure of attending. The front desk staff was very friendly and helped me to sign in quickly. I was fortunate to be seen by Dr. Jeffrey himself, who was able to x-ray my foot, deliver my results and offer me treatment, all in one visit! He even personally checked in on me the next day. I highly endorse Newport Foot and Ankle Center. Dr. Haupt and his team possess a high degree of medical knowledge along with the technical and soft

Dr. Jeffrey Haupts' CV is stellar. His D.P.M. is from the California College of Podiatric Medicine and achieved his rotation---4th year Podiatric--- at the USC Medical Center.
As for monsters/mavens in medicine, the former has a seraphic partner to advise/care for patients pending illumination (e.g. Vertosick) "Is that screw too long?" Surgery is in am---despite contradictory information.
Physicians' are perfectionists and the gift to heal imparts the opposite. The best specialists embraced love/forgiveness. *Others had regret/shame and it obscured the bright healing light
