We are located in Topawa, Arizona, on the Tohono O'odham Nation, approximately one and a half hours southwest of Tucson. Our high school and middle school's philosophy is based on "educating the whole person-academically, emotionally, socially, and culturally, " and has proved to be a winning belief.
Here at Baboquivari Secondary Campus, we are proud of our native heritage and seek to inspire and educate students not only in the Arizona State Standards, but also in their Himdag-the cultural beliefs that the Tohono O'odham live by. We offer small class sizes perfect for hands-on experiential learning and quality one-to-one time with faculty and staff.

Services
Parents should call the school office (719-1250) by 8:30 a.m. to report if their child will be absent from school. We consider the illness of the students, a death in the family, family problems of an emergency nature, religious purposes, or medial appointments an excused absence. A student reporting from an excused absence must bring a note from his/her parent/guardian or doctor verifying the reason for the absence.
At Baboquivari, we believe that open communication between home and school is one of the best ways to help our students succeed. If you ever have a question or concern for one of our teachers, please do not hesitate to contact him or her. You are welcome to send an email or contact our school office.
Baboquivari High School and Middle School serves students in grades 7 through 12. Our school's program is based on the Arizona State Standards and offers honors classes and quality elective courses. Here at Baboquivari Secondary Campus, we also offer excellent career and technical programs, such as automotive, and have established a strong Future Farmers of America (FFA) Chapter.
We are here to educate. We strive to deliver the best curriculum available and provide our students opportunities to enrich and further their education. On these pages we have included information about our programs, including dual enrollment options, college and high school testing information, and links to our local colleges and universities.
We have incorporated the national Advancement Via Individual Determination (AVID) program as our college readiness program. The AVID program provides us with tools and resources designed to promote and nurture academic excellence as an outcome for our students. We accomplish this goal by providing AVID's dynamic, research-backed curriculum that is taught by specially trained teachers.
