Ozark Yacht Club

The gas dock is a joke. Even with no boats ahead of you, on a weekday morning during banker's hours, expect to spend a full 20 minutes minimum trying to get someone to sell you marked up fuel. I know the age of this place's facilities and what they charge for yearly slip rentals. Based on those facts alone, there is absolutely no excuse for the non-attended gas dock. Do not show up to this place for fuel, pump-outs, service, or anything else. Regardless of what they say, they simply do not care.

We had the pleasure of videoing a wedding at Ozark Yacht Club last weekend. The event was lovely, and the staff were wonderful. It is a unique and beautiful venue with the beach and sailboats, along with the convenient housing and reception space. Fun!

Horrible!!! Compare prices!!!! We got so screwed. $500. for 5 hours w/a 6 mile limit. Other places give you 8 hours for that. Unlimited.
I asked the girl where the flag was to indicate tube rider in the water & she looked dumbfounded. She had to search several boats before finding one. The staff was not at all friendly or helpful. I suggest, shop around.

One star because 0 isn’t an option. Spent nearly a $1000 for a filthy boat with trash left from a previous rental. Rented a tube and skis. We had fun on the tube, but no ski rope which rendered the skis useless. We could not get the stereo to work either. We called and spoke to the secretary who said Adam would return our calls. So we went back to tubing. We never received a call. We called again at 5 but no one answered. It was after store hours. When I voiced our problems with the secretary in the office, she took no responsibility, instead placed the blame on us. She said we can’t do anything

Rating is zero stars!!! I strongly discourage anyone from leaving their boat in the care of Ozark Yacht Club. They destroyed our cover, tearing it and then left the boat uncovered for weeks; they begrudgingly agreed clean the boat but that took over 2 weeks to be completed. We went by to confirm it was cleaned and they had it in an open slip, tied to the dock with no bumpers on the dock side....the bumpers were on the boat in plain sight. We own rental properties and are small business owners so I try to give people grace but this was just mediocre at best. To start, the staff was incredibly unfriendly everywhere we went, especially at the marina. Which to me, we are spending a good amount of money to rent a boat so customer service should be a focus. I don’t think a single staff member said hello to me besides the front desk woman…she was incredibly friendly and her name was Gisela. They didn’t help us with the boat plus every boat we rented was incredibly dirty so I’m confused as to why rentals were $700 a day with lackluster

Ozark Yacht Club was AMAZING! They made our wedding so perfect and even more then we could have imagined. I highly recommend anyone having their wedding there. They were always responsive and never dropped the ball on anything. They had the best food, best drinks, best vendors, and the sweetest staff. The morning of our wedding Lisa came over to the bridal suite and made us girls breakfast fresh while we got ready, brought us lunch, made sure that everything ran on time and was so amazing through the whole thing. Our family rented a sailboat (Catalina 32). The staff was kind, courteous and helpful. And, though the sailboat needed a bit of TLC, it was still the most fun I've had in a lot of years. A huge thanks from our family for giving us a perfect way to wrap up our vacation! Being able to rent the boat for overnight excursions or for several days would make it even better!

First off, the GPS brought us into the back of the property. Not really a big deal, until you get down a 15% grade with a boat and there is a coded gate there that no code is provided and says for maintenance only. Then received snarky comments about "not following the instructions and going to the other entrance". Next, they had people in the house that we had rented, so they had to locate the people to pack their belongings, wait for them to come back to the house, and then the maintenance crew cleaned it for the second time that day. We had our wedding and reception at the yacht club and were so happy we did. The houses on the property we stayed at made it incredibly easy for day of activities and Linda was a wonderful asset in coordinating everything.
