I fondly remember my recent visit to Roostica, only a few nights ago. Brought here by the family we are visiting, they had talked about this place since it opened and finally decid. Welcoming, clearly a popular location amongst locals.

We were on a week long vacation with a group of friends, and one of the days the guys went off on a little fishing boat adventure. Well, they caught limit and their captain recommended this restaurant to cook their catch. We went here for dinner and were absolutely blown away with the service AND the food/preparation AND the ambiance.
We were asked to wait a few moments until our table would be ready, and sat outside in this beautiful little area under lights and vines... So we asked if we could just sit there and guess what? We did! Our waitress was the hostess who was just so fun, inviting

The red wine sangria was super good! The pizza was fine. Nothing special. Also the service was questionable. We had to wait 20 minutes even though there were several empty tables. It took a long time to get our drinks. We got the food without getting plates or silverware, and when I asked for silverware, the server treated it as a chore.

Went in yesterday for our happy hour favorite. We come here a lot. But, we unfortunately had a really bad serving experience. Long story short we sat with no drinks or food for over 30 mins when Alex (another server/manager) noticed and took charge. Not only did she recognize us but took over to take care of the issue. She made sure we had drinks and food asap. Alex is the only reason we didn't walk out. She should be recognized as a truly amazing worker and person. Thank you Alex.

Read some good reviews and being dog friendly decided to give them a try. The hostess was prompt to seat us and liked Spike. The service was fast and made a great Arnold Palmer for Debra. The pizza was good, but just a bit on the cold side. Glad we tried it, just not sure we will be back again. The are so many great restaurants in the lower keys and only 50 days to try them out for us this trip.

Great choice for pizza and most other Italian foods. It was suggested as one of the 10 best casual restaurants in the Keys. So, of course, we stopped in. Warm friendly atmosphere, but cool inside on a hot Key West afternoon. Service was quick, personable and good. I had the "working man's lunch" of a small Margherita pizza and lobster bisque soup combo. My partners shared a Hells Kitchen Diavola pizza, soup and a Ceasars salad. Everything was delicious. The Funky Buddy draft beer was light and hit the mark. I didn't have one, but was told so were the Margheritas. Mid range pricing. You can't go

I'm in Key West on a "working holiday". Today at work I heard some coworkers talking about a great pizza place that also served Italian food. They said the name of it was Roostica, located on Stock Island at 5620 MacDonald Ave.
So, I decided to stop there after work for a late lunch/early dinner.
I'm very happy that I decided to eat at Roostica. I had initially decided to try their pizza, but when I saw they had chicken parmesan on the menu I knew I just had to try that!
It was served very quickly and tasted great! A very large piece of tender, juicy chicken that had a crispy

Classy! Service was awesome, prices reasonable considering Key West.
The main ding was the Sicilian Pizza came out a tad burnt, probably could have stood about 5 minutes less in that oven of theirs. Still tasted great though. The "Rocket" Pizza came out quite good though!
In short, would visit again!

This is such a cute restaurant! We sat outside, it was shaded and had fans. It was very comfortable! Decor was super cute! Food was excellent! We had an appetizer called rotolos (Bread rolled with cheese and pepperoni). It was so good. We also ate the fig and pig pizza and the kids had a cheese pizza, they were both excellent. I definitely recommend this restaurant.

So good we had to go twice! My wife and I were down in Key West with family for a vacation. We love Italian food and this place was super close to our rental. Wow, were we lucky!
The service was awesome. Our waitress was super friendly and was happy to give recommendations. Our pizza was great and I loved our Italian grinder sub.
The second time we went was great too. My wife loves thicker crust and got their version of deep dish. Not Chicago deep dish but still very good. I also loved their spaghetti. The sauce had pork in it just like how my mom makes it.
Wish we could go every week!

Came here on our last night in Key West as we were trying to avoid going down near Duval. You can tell this is definitely a local's spot and I see why!
The oyster app was delicious. I could've ordered three more and been good with that as my meal. The zucchini fries were okay, a little soggy. The pizzas were a good size and pretty tasty. The meatballs were very yummy! Definitely recommend the sliders or the spaghetti with those.
Plenty of inside and outside seating. Fun vacation vibes music playing. Attentive service.

My boyfriend and I came here and we weren't too hungry so we decided to just share a few appetizers. I ordered the sangria to drink and it was more fruity than wine tasting but tasted good nonetheless. To share we ordered the Rotolos, the fried saffron risotto balls and the baked truffle Mac & cheese.
Out of the three I would say the rotolos were my favorite. They were so delicious I've never had anything like it before (and I'm Italian). It wasn't too heavy and tasted refreshing with the arugula. Next favorite I would say is the Mac & Cheese. The picture is blurry

This review will be short.
I ordered the Working Man's Lunch. You select half a sub or a small pizza with a salad or soup. I opted for the Chicken Parmesan Sub and the House Salad; both were delicious. My friend and I shared a Brooklyn Boy: sweet sausage, meatballs, spicy salami, red peppers, mozzarella, and bacon. The pizza was stellar.
I deducted 1 star because service was sometimes iffy. Other than that, everything else was great.
4 stars.

This is probably one of the best Italian pizzas I have had in the states. Top 5 for sure. The crust is doughy around the perimeter as it should be, the base thin. You get that distinct smoky flavor that you would in a wood burning pizza oven back across the pond. The ingredients are fresh, the size is just right.
Giving it a 4 because we really didn't try anything else and we had to get another pizza made since one came out not as we ordered it.
Service was friendly, prompt. If you are in the mood to leave old town for a good pizza, I recommend it.
