I've bought items through their auctions quite a few times now and it's always been a great experience. They go above and beyond to be helpful. Once, I had an issue and Kari was amazing! Not only did she help me out better than I expected but she even arranged for the items to be shipped to me!

Terrible family owned/operated business. The young guy that is responsible for which items they accept or deny has no clue about which products to take in and is costing the business a lot of money by denying sellable products. Someone with more experience and some basic knowledge about products should be responsible for the intake of items.

Shady bidding practices.
Bid time keeps extending even while no one is increasing it for 30 minutes already. They do this to get more money.

How absolutely appalling the way they talk to people. Cathy need to learn how to be kind and customer service. Word of mouth is something very important this day and age and to try to talk down to people is ridiculous. I was a witness to how poorly she and her staff treat people. People you know human beings. It wasn't even me that was talk to like this but I will not stand by and watch it and I certainly won't spend my money with them. I have notified my family and friends also.

Deceptive practice. Bid on and won a max bid bathroom vanity light with 4 lights. Two light covers/globes missing and one is broken upon pickup. So there is only 1/4 covers intact. Called into this lady Cathy and she basically said that "you can expect damages from Store Returns". Missing parts are not damages!!! Also, the bid page shows only the retail box from the outside. The box is not sealed. Clearly this company is afraid to take photos that show the inside contents (and it's super clear to see - very disheartening to see missing/broken stuff when opening up the unsealed box). She also said

They have some good random items up for auction.

There are some saboteurs trying to prevent me from obtaining those goods.

I recently participated in one of their gun options online. It was very confusing. I was not sure who was supposed to get a hold of me who is supposed to be collecting money do I need to make an appointment with pick up again and the email sent was also just as confusing! It eventually worked out but I had to do a lot more leg work then I planned on

1) In their online auctions in you bid $5 on an item thats worth $100 and your going to win it, they will go into your account to see what your max bid is and then they will bid on their own item against you to raise what you will pay for it. Theyve been caught numerous times.
2) Everything they sell like watches, cars, anything electrical or with a motor wont run when you get it. You will always need to do 1 minor thing for it to start.
3) They lie about what the products are but its not a big enough lie to hold against them in court.
4) Absolutely no refunds for any reason what so ever!! This

The older woman behind the counter is rude, course, tactless and very short with people. Worst customer service experience I've ever had.
I feel sorry for the people that work with her.
Perhaps if she were to understand that consignors and customers PAY HER WAGE!
it doesn't matter that she's the wife of the owner.
You're not the only game in town!

Wish I could give this place zero stars. I used then a couple times and found that they always will bid up your item to max bid. I'm not even sure how that's legal to do at an auction, since they know your max bid and if you're the only one bidding they just run it up to that max. I bought a van once and was in a bidding war with who I thought was another buyer. I eventually gave up and lost the bid. Get a call from then saying I won it cause the other guy backed out. Said I had to pay my last bid. I told them if this guy hadn't bid it up I wouldn't have been paying this much. I now think they

One of the most annoying online auctions I have bid on. They use a dynamic closing which is pretty standard. However every time a bid is placed on anything in the auction it extends the auction time for every item. I completely understand extending an auction when a bid is placed on that specific item but it is extremely annoying to be the high bidder on an item all day just to be outbid 4 hours after the auction was scheduled to close. Just a heads up if you are going to bid, if an auction is set to close at 7PM, it will probably close after midnight.

Buyer beware................. Every time i put a max bid on an item, the price has been ran up to right below my max bid. It seems that Ehli'
is bidding on there own stuff. this does not seem to be very honest on the part of the auction house. Should of read the other reviews. I know of at lest one auction house that does bid on their own items, but they own up to it and don't go right below the the max bid. With the way this auction closes it is nice to be able to put a max bid instead of staying up all nigh, not again. hate this closing. will no longer do business with them again.

I've participated in close to 1,000 auctions, maybe even more. Some online, some live, but these people run the weirdest online auction I've ever encountered. If you've bid in an online auction you know how it works, you make a bid, someone might outbid you, but in the end whoever bids the most wins it. Simple. An online auction with hundreds or thousands of things (like Ehli Auctions) is a bit different than say eBay where there is only one item you are bidding on and it has a specific closing day/time. Most online auctions are run similarly; there is a day/time where the auction

Dont wast your time with cyber auction. At one time it was a good place to purchase or even take you items to sell.
The last few times ive brought in unused still in the box sealed materials to sell and they refused to take them. When I go online to see what they might be selling and see the same stuff, but used like out of a storage unit.. They dont follow their own policies.
Plus they blast everyone for saying anything negative about them.

The people that complain when you read their complaints show they are low IQ.
First..... They haven't gotten their own life's and Order and they blame the auction house.
2nd... they've never bid at an auction house have no experience so they complain about the auction house. This group of people was obviously spoiled rotten and I mean rotten to a point where if the world does not revolve around them then the world's wrong.

3rd... it's a sign of the times where people are their own gods with a small g. To me this is the most disgusting thing that people in our society are

It's an auction.... where you buy at your own risk, and you have no idea if the stuff is working or not. If you feel you have been duped, then you are probably an inexperienced bidder, and should stay out of my way. Literally, everyone on here that has reviewed 1 star, has no idea how auctions work.

I've purchased several things from this auction site, and all at my risk - the stuf is used after all. I know my limit on bidding, and I factor possible repairs. If you don't know what you're doing, you'll end bidding the item up to retail value, then be pissed the item

After having done business with this establishment previously and everything turned out quite well, I decided to bid again. After all I was a registered user, I was paying with the same payment method as I had done previously.
Then I had the distinct privilege of dealing with the business Gestapo. I had the bummer that everyone hates called losing your wallet. To get a WA id I need a birth certificate. to get a birth certificate, I need a notarized application, to get one of those, I have show id.
I haven't figured out how to get around this. However the Gestapo would take my car registration

Think twice if you want to auction with Ehli!
the price you pay is very high and the stuffs is just junk and not working! even they put the use rice cooker in the box and try to make the bidder think it is new (they have 2 rice cooker, one in the box and another is not). The tools is made in Taiwan, compressor is broken...
Well be aware for this if you truth them and bid online. Good luck to you guys

T Ms Kari Ehli and one of her fellow employees came down and we sooooo nice and helpful. Kari was extremely kind and considerate during this difficult period of my life. They help me liquidate all of my assets in one day! Amazing. And I was able to get a lot more money than I expected, while they

I had an auction account with Ehli for about three years. Bidders can preview the consignment auction at Ehli but all auctions are online only with dynamic closings. The invoice can be obtained a few hours later on the website. Not a problem.

First Issue: A few months ago, I noticed that I had TWO invoices for the same auction (two different invoice numbers). Ehli does update their website fairly often so I wasn't really worried about a minor bug. I always go to Ehli to pay cash and pick up my winnings. I printed one invoice and brought the "two invoices for the same auction situation

You will not find any great deals or hidden-gems, here. They pick out the good stuff and sell it separately, on eBay, etc. The prices skyrocket at the end of the auction. Unlike say Craigslist or eBay, the several times I've bought something from Ehli I've been disappointed and felt I got a bad deal -- the item didn't work, or was smaller than it looked, or much lower quality than I'd imagined, or dirty, etc. All sales are final, there's no returns.

To know what you're getting, you really need to come look at it in advance -- so add another round-trip to your time

They have had some good stuff on the auction block, but their auction engine (probably hand written in JS) sucks. If you bid on an item and put a max bid of $300, and someone else then bids $300, they are now the highest bidder, not you. The algo sucks and needs to be written by someone who knows math and functions.
