Half Shell Resort

I’m rating 5 stars based on the conversation I just had with the sweet lady on the phone. I’m fleeing a domestic situation and she was very understanding and I would love to make it a home for the moment with my kids. I will definitely b calling her closer to the time I leave because she was so sweet and kind an seemed to have cared about me. Based on the call I felt so comfortable explaining my situation and why I was calling so late. My husband & I stayed here for 3 days. I'm rating this 5 stars because of how accommodating these wonderful people where. Our first TT ever & we just purchased this rig 35 feet & we where arriving late. The owner stayed up late to help me back it in & hook it up properly. The site we had was pretty good sized. We unfortunately didn't see much of the river as it was blocked by some RVs however its peak winter months & we totally get it. We have talked about staying here again next year when we visit our family. fair price beautiful property. The owner was very polite Thank you so much

I had made reservations weeks prior to my arrival. On the day of my arrival I was informed that a lot was not available and they were going to put me in an “emergency spot” for 2 days and then move me to another spot.
The RVs are stacked right next to each other. It was poorly managed. It felt very unsafe. This is not a “campground”. It is a place to come to be packed in like cattle. This is not camping!!

I stayed for several month at the Half Shel Resort in Satsuma, while waiting for our house to be finished. Its a nice quite place with a marina, so very convenient if you not only have an RV, but also a boat. They have very nice spots and its quite. I recommend this RV resort and will stay there again. Sandy and Tony who run this place are very helpful and the prices are fair.

This place is a hidden gem. This park is gorgeous. I love being able to do so much right here. You can go fishing, cook out, lounge on the Marina and watch some absolutely amazing sunsets. I love staying here. The owners are very friendly and accommodating. I will definitely be staying here for a while!

Although I did not have any runs in with the owners like the full timers have. Beautiful sunsets no doubt about it but something needs to be done about the smell of the water. I have had well water at my home and has never smelt like that. The washroom needs to be updated, there is no pool, no dog park. Oh and if you have a dog it's an extra 60.00 a month. I don't understand the theory of that. All I am going g to say is it far from a resort.

I really love this quiet little resort on the St. John's River. The quiet location, large oaks with Spanish moss and sunsets on the river, make this one of my favorite places to have an extended stay. The wifi is fast and the management is very helpful and friendly.

I have lived here since May. Sandy and Tony have been very attentive and great hosts to me. The day before I moved into the park a Semi truck ran over my phone ( my neglect!, Nuff said 🤪). It cost me $$$$$ to replace. Sandy was very understanding and nice enough to work with me on the first months rent Thanks again Sandy😘). Tony Literally works All day Every day to improve the park, Thanks Tony🌪💪!
The other guests here have been great and soooo accepting. Its a pretty quite park for the most part, once in a while someone is having fun or getting together playing corn hole and whatnot
