Barrett Partners is dedicated to serving its clients with the highest level of expertise in the practice of landscape architecture and planning. We provide a comprehensive planning and design process including site evaluation, analysis, preliminary planning and final design. Barrett Partners advocates an integrated approach with all projects.
Formed in 1999 Barrett Partners is located in the historic Beck House in downtown Lexington, Kentucky. Partners Brenda and Tony Barrett each have over thirty years experience working on numerous successful projects. Mr. Barrett specializes in land use planning, master planning, zoning, community development planning, site planning and design.
Barrett Partners provided landscape architecture services for the Grandstand Terrace and Rooftop Garden at Churchill Downs, home of the Kentucky Derby. The project included a 51,000 square foot expansion and a 14,000 square foot renovation at this world class race track. The terrace is located on the 2nd and 3rd floors.
This neighborhood park is located in one of Lexington, Kentucky's premier gated communities. The Common's at Ashford Oaks offers homeowners an expansive lawn area for informal play, a walking trail for exercise and a park pavilion for community events. An entry way at the corner of the park incorporates signage as well as a small gathering space with wide steps that lead up to the walking trail.
Midway Station is a 207 acre mixed-use development north of Interstate 64 and the town of Midway, Kentucky. Barrett Partners prepared the Master Plan and assisted in the zone change request for the re-development of the property which was originally intended to be an industrial park with a small retail center.
