Heel pain is generally the result of faulty biomechanics (walking gait abnormalities) which place too much stress on the heel bone and the soft tissues that attach to it. The stress may also result from injury or a bruise incurred while walking, running, or jumping on hard surfaces; wearing poorly constructed footwear; or being overweight.

I went to see dr.?? Yack for foot pain. She indicated that I needed shoes with firm soles and I bought a pair of shoes from her. I went back 2 weeks later for a follow up appointment and she said that I needed shoes with firm soles again and offered me to look at the shoes that she sold. When I told her that I already purchased a pair of her shoes and she had just inspected those and she said that they needed to be firm. It’s just an over priced show store.

Dr Yack saved my foot... and taught me how to take care of my diabetic feet. I was so afraid the first day, but she diligently worked with me. I'm back in regular shoes, but just the correct type for my feet. A big thank you to Doc and her team. 🙂👍

Some other reviewers in the past have posted about Dr. Yack’s bluntness as being an issue. However, how many of us can honestly say we know anything about the over 20 different bones and over 100 different muscles that there are in our foot? Even my doctor reached a point where I was sent to a podiatrist.
I appreciate her candid bluntness and her professionalism because I never would have known I had a stress fracture/plantar fasciitis. Also it’s a good thing that she told me I needed new shoes. Her staff are very courteous and professional, and I hope she stays in practice for many more years

Desperate for relief after over a year of battling plantar heel and fore foot pain with resulting numbness in 2nd&3rd toes; I made an appointment with Dr. Yack. I was seen promptly, evaluated & educated. I was given clear instructions on how to purchase proper foot wear and how to watch for wear so they could be replaced when the time was appropriate. I was offered custom orthotics (best long term choice) or several off the shelf brands. I wanted a solution asap, so I choose from the OTC brands. I landed on powerstep after being allowed time to assess several. Doc was also recommending metatarsal

Doctor and staff are very nice. However, even though they were told of how bad my husband's history of diabetes and foot sores (which are all clear now) Doc Yack's son over trimmed his toenails and made them bleed. I asked him how do you get a license for doing this sort of thing. He replied that his mother taught him. He said he was helping his mother out. And even though he wore a mask (below his nose) and gloves, Doc Yack did not. Ungloved she touched my husband's feet to look at them. Unprofessional, especially during these times of pandemic. They also would not file on his Medicare, we have

Dr. Yack and her staff are competent, caring, and compassionate. They took care of my father for years until his recent passing at the age of 86. Big thanks to everyone there for all of your help and assistance over the last 6 years.

Absolutely would not recommend. Terrible attitude! We canceled 2nd appointment, called next day after appointment “where order had been placed for arch supports. Nothing special ordered, most Hong custom fit. Yet they claimed we couldn’t cancel. Literally, 9AM after leaving office day before at 4pm. We Never received goods or services, yet they billed us for items. Then placed negative collections on our credit file! STAY AWAY FROM THIS DOCTOR, SHE IS ALL ABOUT HER BEST INTEREST AND MAKING MONEY FOR HER!!!!!!!! YOU’VE BEEN WARNED!

This Dr. Is a joke. The office is clutter with all sorts of knives lnacks( first clue something ain't tight) I was walked into a room and advise to remove my shoes. She came into the room as I sat and immediately told me that no service is provided for dead skin.. removal or corns and such (lie there because I have seen many other doctors remove dead skin) I told her that I recently lost over 200 pounds and I think my feet are taking a beating. "What you have the gastric bypass"
Was her responds..... ummmm no, and thank you for your rude behavior! 30$ copay for some

I was referred to Dr. Yack from a friend and it was the worst experience I've had at a drs office. The office is old and she seems behind the times. If it was clean, it may have just been worn down. I made appts for both my son and myself and was very disappointed. In her examination of my son for an ingrown toe nail, all she did was see that it was red and said it looked ok and this was his first one. During my examination, she tore the insole out of his $125 pair of sneakers to prove "some insoles are not removable" (this demonstration was for me) since she was telling me I could get new insoles
