Starting in 1996 after graduating from Virginia Tech and completing his MBA from George Mason University, Rockville Auto Clinic owner, Jeff Carino decided to follow his passion for cars. This launched his career into the automotive repair industry. Since the start Jeff has built his business on the pillar of professionalism.

I had called around to several places looking for a company that did Maryland state inspections on Tesla’s. That itself was difficult but Rockville Auto Clinic was one of the few places who did them. I drove from Waldorf to Rockville without scheduling and appointment. I got there right when they opened and was seen right away. I must say their waiting area is nice and they have free WiFi which I definitely needed. Their customer service is great, the inspection only took about an hour and a half, and the price is the average cost. Overall I had a great experience with this company and would

Owner of a 2011 for edge inoperable wipers front and rear..after doing my youtube and google search and talking to a mechanic (which I've basically done my home6prior) I googled search auto repair shop near me and came up with Rockville auto Clinic conveniently located. After making and appointment on line I arrived checked in and waited 5hr in the waiting area after been told that this may take time and they cant figure out the issue could I leave it. I have been using Rockville Auto Clinic for years, including within the past month. I have never had any problem with the repairs they have done on my cars. Every time I have used them I get an accurate diagnosis of the problem and a firm estimate on the cost before the work occurs. I have never felt any pressure to fix something that I felt was unnecessary. I have learned I can trust the owner Jeff and his employees.

If you own a BMW and it is off-warranty, then you know there is nothing more important than a good, indy mechanic who can keep it in good running order. Jeff and his team are amazing. Responsive, diligent, and honest. They do outstanding work for a reasonable price. They know these cars well and where things tend to go wrong, meaning they are on top of preventive maintenance. And they don't try to force unnecessary services on you to make a few bucks. If you own a BMW, I cannot recommend Rockville Auto Clinic enough.

Jeff and Marcus at Rockville Auto took excellent care of my vehicle, performing periodic maintenance that included changing engine oil and filter, air filter, topping off other fluids, and changing the spark plugs. They inspected the vehicle and called me to explain the recommended services, then completed the authorized services quickly. Friendly team, clean and orderly shop. Highly recommend!

My car was making a weird noise and I brought it to the dealer and they couldn't figure it out as they charged me $2600 over three visits basically not to fix it (but charge me for changing parts that were totally fine). That was the the Audi dealership in Bethesda. I brought it here the guy took it out for a ride and figured out the problem in 5 minutes. Now I bring all my cars here unless covered under dealer warranty. Will not go anywhere else.

My wife's warning light on the dashboard came on so our first thought was to bring it into Rockville Auto Clinic. She called and was able to get an appointment the next day. She brought her car for an early morning appointment and they called about an hour later explaining what needed to be done. They provided a cost estimate and were able to fix all the issues in the middle of the afternoon (very fast!). When we came to pick up the car, the final cost actually turned out to be a little cheaper than the estimate! The owner (I think?) was super friendly and we were on our way out the door.

Every time I bring one of my cars to Jeff for service, I know I'm getting excellent service, honest communication and fair pricing. I typically set aside 1k per year per car for any kind of "significant" maintenance that might pop up. Some years, I need to use it all...other years, I don't need to touch it. Jeff and his team take such good care of my vehicles and treat me with respect...no need to go anywhere else!

This is a few months late but I wanted to take the time to add this review. After getting my car inspected at a different place, I brought my car to Rockville Auto Clinic to get a second opinion. The first place had quoted me a significant amount for the repairs they said would be required for my car to pass the MD inspection test. Not only did Rockville Auto Clinic make all the required repairs for several hundred dollars cheaper, they also re-inspected my car free of charge so that I wouldn't have to bring it back to the first place. Their customer service was extremely friendly as well

I am SO very thankful for Jeff and the Rockville Auto Clinic. We were in Maryland to be near family, when we were evacuated from coastal NC for Hurricane Dorian. Our Toyota Sienna developed an issue with the window switch, where the back window would just randomly go down without notice... and would stay down for a while before we could get it back up (only to then go back down again...)
We were anxious to return home this morning - but really couldn't do it with the window issue (especially with the possibility of traveling through heavy rain, with our "important belongings"

Wow, based on just one visit a huge 5 star for RAC. My 2004 Matrix was having A/C problems that the dealer seemed unable or unwilling to solve. Based on reviews, took a shot with RAC. Jeff made space in the schedule, diagnosed the issue and had me out within 3 hours. This place is worth the exploration trip into the off-Gude industrial area and I hope they continue their high level of service.

I just moved to Potomac from LA and brought my 2013 BMW 535i with me. Naturally, the car is now out of warranty and I needed a trusted mechanic in the region. In LA, I utilized a mechanic that had serviced all of the family cars for nearly 20 years. Last week, I heard a very sharp metal on metal grinding sound coming from the front passenger side wheel well. I took my car to another shop in Rockville and they presented me with a $4,000 bill. My front passenger rim/wheel was slightly cracked, causing air to leak from my tire over the past several days. For the past two mornings in a row, I brought my car to this shop before work, and they gladly stopped what they were doing to kindly fill my air for me so I could get to work! Was quoted 550 for replacing an alternator. Car was dead, so I was in a hurry to get it fixed.
Found quotes afterwards ranging from 300 to 400. Very overpriced.
After picking up the car, now the front exhaust sounds like a lawnmower on fire. They suggested a front exhaust repair for 450.
Will be looking elsewhere.

I have been a customer at Montgomery AutoHaus for a little over 15 years, when Rogar and his crew ran the shop. I had 4 different Mercedes that when the factory warranty expired went to this shop for any issue that an Indie Mercedes shop could handle.
After the different changes in ownership over the last few years I was reluctant to hear that Montgomery AutoHaus had a new sign and ownership. Had to get some work done and a timely oil change. I was very happy with the cost and knowledge of the new techs.
