Services
Depending on the type of illness, severity of the condition, a client's constitution, and his/her endurance during treatment-results may vary. Some clients feel an immediate difference or improvement; some feel better days later or after several treatments. For the best result, a client should stick to a full course of acupuncture treatments.
Finding a qualified massage therapist-who not only has graduated from an accredited school, and/or has passed the National Certification Exam for Massage and Bodywork, as well as having the appropriate business licenses-is your most important task.
Begin by asking someone you know for a referral, but remember that a good referral source is someone who has experienced different therapies/treatments or someone in the healthcare field with knowledge about the practice/benefits of massage.Prior to your massage, drink plenty of water. Dehydrated tissue is difficult for the therapist to work with and may be painful for the client.

According to the State Medical Board of Ohio, acupuncture is defined as a form of healthcare performed by the insertion and removal of specialized needles-with or without the application of moxabustion or electrical stimulation-to specific areas of the body. Originating in China 3,000 years ago, acupuncture is therefore one of the oldest medical procedures in the world.

I was in an accident 12 years ago and sustained damage to my back, knee, neck and hip. I had surgeries and was placed on high doses of opiates to help with pain. I stopped using medication 8 years ago by my own will. I found that my greatest success in pain relief has come from chiropractic care, massage, and above all else acupuncture. I tried a few acupuncturists before I arrived at The Wellness Center a few years back and can honestly say...Jenni, is the absolute best. I'm very grateful to have found her and for the relief she's given me. She's been a blessing.

Deep tissue massage from Mary was extremely beneficial and healing. She also took the time to advise on exercises to assist with my issues. Worth every penny. Staff was very helpful as well. Ignore the 1-star rating from "josh smith" as it's illegitimate - all his Google reviews are phony and vindictive.
