For over a decade now I have been helping clients with all their insurance needs. In 2009 I decided to start Neiens Insurance Services with the sole purpose of helping people understand insurance. Too many people just buy what their friends, neighbors, or colleagues have, and don't customize a plan that fits their specific needs.

What is auto insurance? Auto insurance protects you against financial loss if you have an accident. It is a contract between you and the insurance company. You agree to pay the premium and the insurance company agrees to pay your losses as defined in your policy. Liability coverage pays for your legal responsibility to others for bodily injury or property damage.

Homeowners insurance provides financial protection against disasters. A standard policy insures the home itself and the things you keep in it.

Recreational vehicles do more than just carry you from one place to another; they transport you with an eye toward maximum fun and/or comfort along the way. Just because some of these vehicles are associated with playtime, that doesn't mean they don't need the same insurance protection as any other piece of expensive property you own.

What kinds of health insurance are there? There are essentially two kinds of heath insurance: Fee-for-Service and Managed Care. Although these plans differ, they both cover an array of medical, surgical and hospital expenses. Most cover prescription drugs and some also offer dental coverage. These plans generally assume that the medical professional will be paid a fee for each service provided to the patient.
