I used to love this place....I have bought many plants there and always had success with each one.....Until my last purchase. A black dragon cryptomeria, which I paid 130 dollars for. The person who helped me pick it for a specific spot told me this plant would work......350 days to the year I called them and told them it was dead....took pictures of it to show them when i went in to get another plant but they refused to give me a replacement, and instead gave me a number to call at the county extension service to figure out why it died...........i had the receipt and was within the year guarantee

Had a particular plant I was looking for so I drove all the way to get it. A huge location with an excellent variety of plants. I was not impressed with the two ladies in the office who acted like I was inconveniencing them with my $21 worth of plants, although the gentleman on the phone was very friendly when he told me I could pay over the phone to avoid going inside. I'm excited about my purchase though!

We bought 20 different plants last fall. Four of the ornamental grasses are not growing (the other eight are doing fine). They look dead. My husband took them back, with the receipt, and was told basically to try planting them again, that they shouldn't have been planted in the fall (then why sell them in the fall?) and that if they still don't grow, then we can bring them back. My husband is nicer than me. I would have told them that if the plants are still alive, they could replant them and give me new ones. I'm not sure how this is a "guarantee." We spent close to $500

I went here for the first time today and was so glad that a friend referred me to this nursery. I would previously go to Pike's and spend a lot of money for very little product. This nursery has many different plants and a helpful staff. Staff went around with me to find the items on my list and loaded my truck. They also offered helpful planting advice.
