Founded in 2008 by owner Jeff McGrady, Heritage Freight provides a wide variety of Transportation, Warehousing, and Logistics services. Heritage Freight has earned a solid record of accomplishment in the industry by focusing on providing world class customer service, employing only the most qualified and experienced drivers, and by having an unwavering commitment to quality.
Jeff has 40 plus years in all aspects of the transportation Industry and prides himself on quality service and understanding and anticipating client needs. He takes a practical approach to business with honesty and integrity, and as a result has cultivated long standing relationships with customers.
Heritage Freight Warehousing and Logistics currently operates a fleet of 150 satellite and video equipped late model tractors and over 250+ trailers. Trailers consist primarily of dry van, but include a specialty division of flatbeds, liquid and bulk tanks, pneumatic dumps, and Conestoga-equipped coil trailers.
Heritage Freight currently operates a fleet of 150 satellite equipped, late model tractors and 250+ various trailers including 53-foot air ride dry vans, a regional flatbed division and a specialty division that includes open top chip trailers, walking floor trailers, and liquid and bulk tankers. Our van division services the continental US, primarily the Southeast, Midwest and Southwest.
Heritage has four warehousing facilities located in and near Sylacauga, AL, which is conveniently located near Atlanta, Birmingham, Montgomery, Anniston, Gadsden, Huntsville, and Tuscaloosa. We offer warehousing for dry goods, as well as, cross docking and rail services. Heritage has rail spurs to its main warehouse serviced by two class one rail carriers, CSX and NS.
