In our office we provide neuropsychological testing that can map out a persons strengths and weaknesses and can help a patient create an effective treatment plan with their referring doctor or with their primary care physician.

Now accepting new patients for neuropsychological testing (to diagnose cognitive disorders such as ADHD, dyslexia, autism, OCD, ODD, PTSD, TBI, alzheimer's, dementia, etc), bariatric psychological assessments, psychological evaluation for pain management and spinal cord stimulators, psychological testing for depression and anxiety, military clearance, foster clearance, and adoption.

We have been offering comprehensive, psychological treatment in the Central Ohio are for the past 18 years. Assessing potential risk factors of opiate/narcotic treatment of patients struggling with chronic pain.

In light of the passing of House Bill 93, many physicians who prescribe narcotic/opiate medications are finding it helpful to incorporate a psychological consult as part of their treatment protocol, in order to determine the patient's psychological appropriateness for these medications i.e.Our office also offers the use of Telehealth for these evaluations for the more distant offices that are interested.
A neuropsychological evaluation is an examination that measures brain function. These examinations are non-invasive and take several hours to complete. Neuropsychological evaluations determine how an individual's brain uniquely operates. They are typically utilized to determine the presence of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder i.e.
These evaluations are typically scheduled within one to 2 weeks after we receive a referral from your surgeon. They are typically done in our office but if you live outside of the Columbus area we can schedule you to do these evaluations over Zoom. The tests have over 850 questions and can take up to 2 or more hours to finish.
These evaluations are typically scheduled within 1 week after speaking with the patient or receiving a referral from the pain doctor. We will send out the paperwork which is required to be sent back before scheduling since we are currently seeing most patients over telehealth. Due to House Bill 93 many pain doctors find it beneficial to have a psychological evaluation on file for all new patients. The evaluations help determine the mental state of the patient due to chronic pain, and help the doctor determine if the patient is a good candidate or if another procedure would be more beneficial.
