In 2015, our team recognized the need for a new approach to helping the community in Jackson and West Tennessee. We provide evidence-based mental health and counseling to anyone looking to improve their quality of life. PLG offers one-on-one counseling, marriage and family counseling, substance abuse and addiction treatment, and many other services for you.

Our services are backed by research and based on positive psychology to ensure that we are offering the best support possible. Positive Psychology is the study of the strengths that permit individuals and societies to thrive. Thriving communities and individuals are successful due to this study. It is based on science that focuses on the strengths of a community or person.
At The Positive Living Group, we are happy to be the first clinical setting to offer life-coaching services in West Tennessee. Life Coaching is different than counseling because you are not receiving "treatment." Instead, a life coach works as your partner in achieving family, work, life, relationship, and general goals you have for yourself.
The Positive Living Group is committed to helping people live better lives through our Intensive Outpatient Program or IOP. Through this program, we aim to help our patients develop healthier and better coping skills, as well as build a support network for recovery. Participants of this program can still go about their day-to-day lives.
Our Couples and Family Counseling Services at The Positive Living Group provide a safe place for you to discuss and explore your relationship needs and issues. Our expert counselors and therapists can help you develop communication and conflict resolution skills that can help strengthen your relationships and improve your quality of life.

This is a on time service. I have referred several people to this facility that were desperate for life change. They were effective , professional and nonjudgemental no matter what mental state the person was in.They will be my number one reccomendation as ling as I am in social services.

I was in a really dark place and wanted something different. They met my needs. I did not feel embarrassed or ashamed. In such a short time things have already turned around. The staff is there when I need them

When I entered the building, it was a feeling of peace and positive energy! The employees are welcoming and so encouraging! The building was very clean and serene! Very inviting! I would encourage others to go! The building and the employees met all my needs and more! Will be going back for sure!! I give this 5 stars!! I’m excited we have a place like this in Jackson!

I got a chance to visit this brand new facility the other day and I was truly impressed! The staff offered me fresh coffee as they gave a tour of what they have to offer. They are doing truly innovative things here. I started the new year wanting to make sure that my mental health had the check up it needed when I was making appointments for my physical health. I will be seeing them at least 1 (once per quarter). The other thing noticed is they have various group activities available, from book clubs to yoga classes to mindfulness and relaxation therapy. I am excited to make these positive additions
