Servicing Rhode Island, Connecticut, Massachusetts and Maine, I provide marine surveys for yachts and commercial vessels in all material types: Wood, cold molded (wood epoxy), fiberglass, composite, aluminum and steel.

Services
A pre-purchase survey (sometimes called a "Condition and Valuation survey") is strongly advised when purchasing a new or used yacht. Condition and overall operation of the yacht should be examined. This includes such items as structural integrity, out of water inspection, sea trial, electrical systems, navigation systems, propulsion system, fuel system, machinery, electronics, appearance and overall maintenance.
The report runs from 8 to 14 pages in most cases. Photos and thermal images of particular findings and general overview photos are included in the body of the report. The report lists findings and recommendations for the items to be corrected prior to operating the vessel for its intended use. Our promise is that the report will be sent within 2 business days of the completion of the survey in all cases save a Damage Survey.
