I started Care For Me At Home because of the experience I had caring for my Dad. My eyes were opened to the importance of having qualified and compassionate caregivers in his home when my family needed extra support. I am passionate and committed to helping our seniors remain in their home and continue to be independent and live a healthy, safe and active lifestyle.
Our caregivers are part of your "Care Team" which includes family, friends, medical support, and community resources. Be it respite care for the family caregiver, or ongoing support with daily caregiving, we are here to help. A person with Alzheimer's disease might become agitated when once-simple tasks become difficult.
The need for company, love, and support is not something that diminishes as we grow older. Healthy relationships and social life is particularly important for seniors. Consistent social interactions help keep people mentally, physically and emotionally fit and also fend off the difficulties inherent to isolation and make our lives feel more meaningful in an overall sense.
A caregiver will help with laundry and ironing, making certain fresh linens and towels are clean and changed as often as you wish. Personal space is one of the most important environments allowing for comfort and wellbeing. A caregiver's attention to light housekeeping not only supports cleanliness, it also helps with organization.
Good nutrition is an important part of leading a healthy lifestyle. Eating well balanced meals, regardless of age and physical ability, promotes healthy weight, improves mood, combats diseases, boosts energy, and improves longevity! I've had Care for Me at Home helping me out for a year. They have been great with the service and accommodating last minute schedule changes. Nancy and Heather both make sure there are no issues with the caregivers. Everyone is great with the dogs too!
UPDATE: I needed help with laundy and housework for just a couple hours and called Nancy to see if anyone was available. She herself came out the next day and took care of things. Great and caring company.

Care for Me at Home has been a caregiver provider for my mother for many years now. I so appreciate the extra care, patience, and understanding of all of my mother’s needs.
