Swept Away

First initial clean was not what I expected so I gave them the benefit of the doubt. They were only in my home for an hour. Not sure how much you can get done in that amount of time deep cleaning. It was surface clean and not a deep clean. The second time they came to clean there was 3 people and I was pleased. I was more upset that I was charged double and was unaware this was their policy. After arranging 3 cleaners, for 3 hrs., the day came. They came 1.5 hrs, not the 3 hrs, against protest. They did only part of what I said was my special request (explained when asked only). What was worse was being approached just after they arrived, by phone, with the scheduler attempting to extort more money to actually do the job. At $210-$250 quoted for the entire 3 hrs, I wonder how they would ask for more money, rather than less? When I looked around after, I noted of two bedrooms and a bath upstairs, only the bathroom was cleaned. The carpet wasn't touched. I asked, by phone,

Swept away did a great job for the deep clean so I decided to sign up for a bi weekly service. I spent two hours cleaning after they left! (Different crew then the first time) They mopped around things, didn’t clean an entire room, they didn’t dust, wipe down countertops, clean the toilet, or vacuum the stairs. They offered to come back and re clean everything that they should have but what’s the point of coming back when they missed everything? I’m disappointed that the owner didn’t return my call as I was told. A 48$ discount is unacceptable.

Sept away came to our house several times on behalf of pink ribbon girls, a wonderful breast cancer charity. Such a blessing to have a clean house when you are sick. So pleasant to do business with and they do an amazing job!

Christa & Jessie are Great! After an initial 2 hour deep clean of my condo, they came back again today (two weeks later) and cleaned everything in a little over an hour. The ladies are friendly, professional and very efficient workers. Top notch cleaners! Thanks so much for helping me!

Just a public service announcement...I recommend AGAINST EVER using Swept Away Cleaning Services. What they promised and what they delivered were NOT in line. I paid for 2 hours of cleaning (which wasn't cheap) and they left well over 20 minutes early and the quality of the cleaning was terrible. I then called to follow-up and ask for reimbursement for the time difference and was told that "wasn't possible". They offered to send them back to make up the time - NOT ACCEPTABLE as I've already cleaned these areas!

Pros: They were able to fit me in their schedule very last minute, great communication, and got a lot done in the time frame I gave. Very polite and professional on phone/email and the house smelled great when I got home.

Cons: Did not feel the job was thorough at all. I asked for the whole first floor to be cleaned yet the dining table was covered in dust (not even touched), specifically asked the blinds be dusted but one side was completely covered in dust still, bathrooms were not spotless--hair and water marks still present, and there were numerous sticky spots on the wood floor that were

I have used Swept Away twice when life got a little too busy to get all of my chores done. Both times, they have arrived on time and finished well within my budget. If they finish ahead of the projected time, they give you the option of adding more chores to their list or paying for the lesser amount of time. All of the employees have been friendly and hard-working. This is a great company!
