We have created custom upholstery and interiors for vintage cars and hot rods for over 40 years, as well as repair, reconstruction and redesign for modern cars. We also make car covers and carport enclosures. We can custom design and build furniture to suit your needs. We can recover your existing frames or design something unique to your house and surroundings.

Jared is not only does a great job but he, and Kamrin, are great to work with. We have done a couple of projects with Altered Canvas - a dodger and cockpit cushions. Jared had some suggestions that we adopted from the original dodger design and it is even better. For any canvas/upholstery work we have done our boat, Altered Canvas is is our choice without a doubt!

He goes above and beyond for his customers. He has a busy boutique shop, and he is transparent about his schedule but is fluid in adjusting to meet weather demand-type projects.
He is very helpful in sharing tips of the trade on how to maintain fabrics, and seasonality of purchasing new fabrics.

Jared has done great work for us. A few years ago, he recovered a boat cushion that had a torn seam. It looks great (no different than the other cushions) and has worn well. Last year we asked Jared to make snap on covers for our boat because we were moving to Southern California and the boat would be in the salt water and sun 24/7. He did an amazing job.
The covers look fabulous and are wearing superbly. All snaps work beautifully and the covers are doing their job. His workmanship is outstanding and he was responsive during the process. Thanks Jared!
