Services
From the ages of two and a half to five, beginning dancers at Generations take Creative Movement Classes. Students wear comfortable ballet slippers in class and learn the beginnings of tap and ballet in a fun and gentle environment! This introductory class for the very young dancer offers exposure to socialization, body awareness, coordination, rhythm and the lyrical qualities of movement and music.
All fees are based on a 9 month program meeting one time per week. You may now sign up for auto debiting at the desk (your monthly payment may be automatically debited from your checking or savings account). We also accept checks, cash and credit card payments at the studio. All students will have their photo taken in their costume at the studio, both individually and with their class.
Additional classes will be added to the schedule if needed. Classes are filled on a first come first serve basis. Classes with less than 6 students may be canceled. If a class is canceled, you will be given the opportunity to try other classes or receive a full refund. All other ensemble classes, competition classes, Step One and Ballet Allonge' schedules are available in person.
Leotard and tights are required for all dance classes. Students are permitted to wear any style or color of leotard and tights, however most ballet dancers wear pink tights and jazz and tap dancers usually prefer suntan tights. Dance cover-ups are permitted, but are to be fitted. Dance skirts are also allowed in the classroom.
Ballet Allonge was formed in 2007. Students are invited to participate in this pre-professional company. The three levels, Petite, Junior and Senior, are designed to help the serious ballet student to grow into a mature ballet dancer who will audition for not only summer programs, but for professional ballet companies as they move through the stages of training.

We have been a part of the Generations family for three years now. Our experience with them has been an absolute joy. Angie et al adapted so quickly and navigated Covid restrictions so optimistically and professionally, that the pandemic only served to further confirm that our daughter is in the best hands possible. We won’t go anywhere else. Their summer camps are great too!

My wife and I live in Chillicothe. We attended Christmas for the Generations at Westerville Central high School on Saturday, December 7, 2019. The quality of this show and the talent that was displayed cannot be expressed in words. We have been to professional shows that do not compare. Last year was unbelievable, this year was even better. Everyone involved should be extremely proud. The performance also fortified the belief that our young people are amazing, which gives me great confidence in the future of our country. Great job!!!!

These guys are the best if you are in need of some "first-wedding dance" help. My husband and I decided a week before the wedding that we needed some additional help and so we booked an hour-long private lesson at Generations Performing Arts. Within the hour, we had some basic steps to get us through the dance as well as a few additional tricks to spice things up. Our instructor was incredibly patient with us and really encouraged us throughout the hour. We left feeling confident in our abilities and excited to show off our new skills.

Both of my daughters have received excellent dance training from Generations as well as a place away from home where they truly feel like they matter! They are two entirely different people and dancers who have been able to hone their skills to the best of their abilities which speaks to the versatility of the Generations staff and their teaching methods. You will not find a more professional, more organized, or more caring environment to take your child to receive dance training. It truly is the best there is!

Generations is a place where you will not only receive top notch training in dance, but valuable lessons in life! They offer classes ranging in all subjects and skill levels. You can dance a half hour a week or 20 hours a week and you will receive love, care and attention from all of the staff and instructors. There is no better place for your child to grow up and learn to dance than Generations Performing Arts Center.

My three daughters all took dance at Generations. We have been very happy with the teachers and the opportunities for a wide variety of levels of participation. The owners believe strongly in a wholesome, family-friendly, nurturing environment for the children to grow; this is their number one priority. I highly recommend Generations as the studio to introduce your child to dance. It's a great place to learn not only about the art of dance but also about team work and other important life skills.

We have been a part of the Generations family for ten years now, with all three of our children taking classes and the experience has been nothing less than excellent. The dance training is top notch. The instructors emphasize strong technique while also making the classes fun for all students. There are competition level classes for the more serious dancer, classes for the recreational dancer, as well as classes for older beginners and even boys! The performances throughout the year are fun and meaningful to our family. We love the community involvement that Generations provides. The studio facility

Generations PAC has provided and continues to provide a wonderful experience for our daughter. The dance instruction is first rate and it is delivered in a kind, inclusive, and positive manner. Generations has classes and programs for all ages, and skill levels. They clearly strive to make the experience of dance positive and fulfilling for their students. The atmosphere of collegiality among the students at Generations is something that we noticed right away and really appreciate. Generations has companies within the school that compete (and excel!) in high level competition while not making competition
